EDIT: We will be uploading this 2 times a week after episode 8! ❤️

Kwon is an anime villain

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Ep 7 REACTION!

Comments

She was good in Age of Youth (Hello My Twenties) as well though she played a supporting role.

Hi guys. I love your reaction to Extraordinary Attorney Woo young woo and if you love the main actress if you are looking for other drama to react to. Please add "The King's Affection" or "Hot Stove League"~! I will also add 18 Again as a suggestion, this is a very heartwarming drama that is loosely based on the American movie 17 again. I feel like you will love these dramas! About Kwon, I actually was irritated by him BUT I do not hate him because some of the points he makes actually make sense. He challenges Young woo but he pushes it too much. He is the one pulling us to the "reality" of the world. I am not saying that bullying is something that should be tolerated or is something that should be normalized. Kwon is really really just gets to your nerves.

I wouldn't mind Kwon, but one thing I can't get over is how he complained about her disability, that's just not cool man.

PREACH!!!

Kwon is very bitter, childish, and insecure. He hates that he has to work hard and suck up to everyone just to keep his place while Youngwoo seemingly gets everything handed to her. This is undermining the hardships Youngwoo goes through every day. She is very talented and has a photographic memory but she also studied hard and earned her place at the firm like everyone else. The only reason she was rejected was because of the prejudice against autism, either way she still graduated summa cum laude (which literally means "highest honor" and is awarded to students who graduate at the VERY top of their class or department) and an almost perfect score on the bar aka WAY better than whatever Kwon got. You can tell Kwon is just insanely bitter and envious because he complains about Youngwoo's "connections" but doesn't have a problem that Choi is literally the daughter of a judge. This just shows that he wanted to find a reason to hate Youngwoo and use it as an excuse to why she keeps beating him instead of accepting she is just more talented and then working hard to learn from her and be better. He acts as if everyone spoon feeds Youngwoo while actively ignoring the prejudice that is thrown in her face at every moment, ESPECIALLY from him. He needs to get a grip and stop being a bitter loser. If he focused on doing his job well and for the RIGHT reasons instead of using sleazy underhanded methods then he might not be scum compared to everyone else at the firm.

It's funny that you guys called Youngwoo "the prince who will one day overtake the king" because the actress who plays Youngwoo, (Park Eunbin) was the lead in a drama called The King's Affection where she played a girl that assumes the identity of her brother who happens to be the Crown Prince and is next in line to be the king.

I love how Carly picks this specific episode to mention the " little sub plot" with the mother in the intro. Then the episode comes and she is suddenly all over the place..😂 This is clearly a turning point of the show. For Kwon: it is sad, but he is actually right for Youngwoo getting the job by connections. Of course this is cause she didn't get a fair chance in the first place. So his thoughts are understandable imo esp. with Youngwoo being in competion with him for the job. His actions though... And as a dad myself: her dad is just the best. Even if some of his decisions may seem a little off: there is only one motivation for everything he does and says, and it is Youngwoo's well being...🥹 As I said when suggesting this show: the characters in this show are just top tier. And I mean every little supporting role here..🧡

I can’t imagine Jung as a villain. He’s too delightful!

You guys need to watch The Uncanny Counter, the main lawyer Jung is a villain demon in s2. And Sara from the Glory is his demon partner

I love how you guys get fired up on your fave characters' behalf. Haha. About Tae Sumi, getting into politics is a very big deal. They want someone squeaky clean to sit in such positions as Minister of Justice as you can imagine. Illegitimate children are still very taboo in Korea generally, especially when it comes to society's view of the mothers of such children. For me, I really enjoy the father's performance in the confrontation with Hanbada's CEO. As much as he's on the side of justice and doing the 'right' thing, he's willing to sacrifice that if it means Youngwoo can have her chance. What Youngwoo says to him about not liking his interference must be so hard to hear because as a parent of someone with Autism, he has had to fight a long a gruelling fight to safeguard her and pave paths for her to take. He has the constant thought of whether he's done the right thing, whether he's done enough to help her or whether he's hurting her inadvertently by not letting her experience some of the difficulties he has protected her from...and then after willingly disregarding his own morals to keep her in that job, to hear her say what she did is enough to make any parent doubt themselves.

This is a 2 part episode. It’s pivotal. I love you two watching this. My fave show
