2023-08-21 15:44:06 +0000 UTCIt’s kinda fun how you talk about the effects of alchohol calming you down, and the different kinds of pressure is put onto you when playing in front of fans vs playing in front of random people (that have expectations) Because in the street performance, it is that piece of wisdom that is imparted to Bocchi. The people who stop to listen to them play, are the people who actually *want* to hear them play. Also the line “you are not in combat with the people in front of you” almost makes me a bit emotional tbh. It is such an obvious thing to point out, but if you have stage freight or something similar it is such an easy thing to forget. I think it was really great for Bocchi to hear that from someone

2023-08-21 14:16:59 +0000 UTCKikuri is actually really cool. She pushed Bocchi outside of her comfort zone, but she was also there to encourage her so she wasn’t alone. She might not have the best coping skills for day to day life, but she is clearly a supportive person (fitting for a bass player, eh?). And the fact that she was a total stranger before this definitely helped to boost Bocchi’s confidence when it comes to playing for an audience of people she doesn’t know at all.
