Each of the band members fill a pretty cool role in terms of how they are socially. Bocchi is obviously socially anxious and introverted, and Nijika is basically the complete opposite being socially confident and extroverted. Meanwhile, Ryo is introverted and socially confident (which is what makes her a loner instead of a lonely person like Bocchi), while Kita is extroverted but very socially anxious, meaning she's much more similar to Bocchi than you'd expect.

2023-08-12 02:21:13 +0000 UTCThe Tsuchinoko in Episode 4 is a reference to a creature in Japanese folklore about a snake that has a super fat body. Bocchi called herself a Tsuchinoko because there was no photo evidence of her existence just like how there is no real evidence of a Tsuchinoko.

2023-08-11 18:47:58 +0000 UTCoff the top of my head, Bocchi has a real and very expensive guitar, I think its an old Gibson Les Paul iirc, and also in Bocchis closet there was a Kana-Boon poster which is a band very well known in japan that have made songs for series like Naruto, My hero academia and Fire force. Also every environment in this show is a real place in Shimo Kitazawa
