2023-08-11 03:53:41 +0000 UTCEpisode 7 is definitely when the show started to pick up for me. That's when we meet new exciting characters, from our boy Oikawa and then best boys Noya and Asahi. And YES the show is very REWARDING. Everything that feels off or slow at the beginning has a rewarding payoff at the end. :)

2023-08-11 00:38:52 +0000 UTCAs you guys questioned it, and since I see no other comments on it then I will clarify Onii is elder brother, otouto is younger brother, Onē is elder sister, Imouto is younger sister. They also use Honorifics for a more polite use or more informal. Chan is more informal, it's mostly used for endearment amongst family but chan is also used for girls. San is the more frequently used and most formal used amongst all. Kun is used for boys, also informal. Sama is used for beings higher up in society or addressing a superior, also used to address god. Senpai is used for upper class men/women. Sensei is for teachers. There's also a bit more honorifics but these are the most commonly used

2023-08-11 00:14:28 +0000 UTCWait for my man Nishinoya to show up I played some good level high volleyball before I watched Haikyu and I can totally relate with Noya. One of the most entertaining and selfless character too just like suga. The gaurdian angle of Karasuno❤️

2023-08-11 00:07:18 +0000 UTCUnrelated to volleyball, but wanted to help you guys out with the words for siblings in Japanese because you will be hearing this a lot in anime: Onii-san / Onii-chan / Ani = Big brother (some people don't pronounce the 'O') Onee-san / Onee-chan / Ane = Big sister (some people don't pronounce the 'O') Otouto = Younger brother Imouto = Younger sister The mini-Shou you guys saw was the younger sister of Shou, and she was referring to her brother as "nii-chan", or big-bro. She is considered the imouto, younger sister. Fun Fact: In some situations, you may hear people call strangers who are in their upper teens - young adults as "onii-san" or "onee-san", especially out in the streets. If they don't know the person's name, it can be used as a way to refer to someone in those age groups despite the people not being related at all. Levi's voice was introduced in ep.5 lol Such a different sounding role, I wonder if you guys can hear it. I don't quite remember, but if my memory serves, you guys will learn about why the condition for the practice match called for Kageyama to start as the setter next episode, if not the episode after that.

2023-08-10 21:15:14 +0000 UTCActually, when the teacher explained the positions, he mentioned three roles for middle blockers: 1-blocking. 2-quick attacks (since they're mainly near the net and in the middle, which means that the setter is closer to them and can give them a very quick and short pass). 3- Being a decoy for the opponent blockers. I like how you realized the connection between Kageyama and Hinata as two pieces of a two pieced puzzle XD. Actually, "Hinata" means "towards the sun" or " in the sunlight", which is suited for a bright character like Hinata. While "Kageyama" means " a shadow mountain", which is suited to a bigger and greater player who's not in the front line, like Kageyama. After all, the Shadow only appears when Sunlight is there :)

2023-08-10 21:10:04 +0000 UTCThe reason they want Kageyama to play setter is because he was basically a top middle school prospect and they want to assert his skill because now that he joined Karasuno, there is a chance they will have to play against him a lot in the 3 years he is there since they are competing in the same prefecture. Also, Suga and Daichi is 3rd years but Kanata is only 2nd years.
