Claw is actually after Mob, they got Ritsu by mistaking him for Mob Ever since the incident between him and Teru at the school made the news they were hunting him down

And this is coming from someone who has said 90% of popular shonen protagonists (tanjiro, deku, tsuna, naruto, ichigo, just to name a few) are basically the same people with only slight tweaks in their personalities so they’re not 100% copy n paste. Genos was completely subservient to Saitama and practically had him on a pedestal. Teru and Mob seem more like normal allies but aren’t particularly close and it doesn’t have the same master-student energy. His reason for joining this fight is also basically because he saw it as the best chance to rid the claw with Mob needing to get his brother back anyways. Yeah he can learn from mob but that’s a pretty common dynamic in a of shonens, major characters learning some stuff from one another. And the OPM doesn’t really have a Dimple and Reigen type, being shady characters by the main protagonists side. Closest third main in OPM is King but…he’s something else lol. I think the sense of humor, though, is 100% similar so I think that’s being picked up easily. And Mob being similar to Saitama in that they’re both OP mains that don’t have to train but Mob still stuggles more in this show but has a super powered secret side (again a shonen staple, see again; naruto, bleach etc.) Saitama literally hasn’t stuggled yet at all in OPM and we haven’t even seen him get hurt, only damage to his clothing.
