2023-08-04 01:08:02 +0000 UTCIf I had to guess (and its been a hot minute since I've seen the Japanese version) they call him "Old Man Fu" because in Japanese he's probably called "Fu-jiisan" which directly translated would be "Grandpa Fu" but could be colloquially 'Old Man Fu'. And it's probably just taken from what Lan Fan and Ling call Fu, who is a grandfather figure to them and with how terms of respect are used in Japan.
