When Hohenheim unknowingly absorbed souls from Xerxes' citizens, those souls were in grief too. Hohenheim could hear their cries. He felt guilty that he had a part in it but couldn't do anything about it, not even die. I bet he's been depressed for a while.

We can see they were unfamiliar with each other the night Mustang faked her death and saved her. Havoc was the one who received her in the dumpster and explained the situation to her. If Havoc's business requires regular trips to Xing, that would be how he encounters Ross behind the scenes. Poor Brosh continued to believe Mustang killed Ross.

2023-08-05 10:57:45 +0000 UTCThink about this - If Hohenheim had not 'cut' ties, Ed and Al would be normal kids, and they could be a happy family, but that also means the Homunculus would capture his family and use them as hostage once Hohenheim becomes a threat. In essence, Hohenheim stayed quiet and under the radar so that Father would not track him. Even Selim was not aware of Hohenheim's presence before the recent Liore episode.

She just thinks that would be the best action. She knows Mustang's brilliance as a commander, his action aligns with her prediction proves that. That's why she hates him because he is a competent rival, but he has her respect and acknowledgement.

Btw, you can think of the chi that the Xingese refer to as the presence of souls, that way you can pick up the meanings of what they said to the plot easier. It is really hard to pick up everything without the whole picture, it took me a few times😂

She doesn't actually lie, but rather she carefully reveals portions of the truth and use them to her advantage, like how she convinced Bradley for the seat and manipulated Raven. Her character design reflects that in how one side of her face and eyes are often hidden by her hair, and shows a bit her face seldomly and strategically. 2) Not everyone was hearing Pride's signal, it was just the animals feeling something weird from the ground.

2023-08-02 20:29:26 +0000 UTCOne of the primary reasons why FMAB is considered the best (with HxH being its only real competition) is because it finishes stronger than any other show. The final dozen episodes is a master class on how to close a show. Leaves you feeling so fulfilled.

He is a product of his environment (because of his father) and just like Sloth they are two most pitiful non-human characters in the show. Sent to do a specific task whether they wish to or not. It's not his fault for not reading the situation like the Chimera's and then switching sides and neither is he a loose unit like greed. Yes, he has committed a bunch of sins (pun intended) but the greater question is was it his doing or the Father's for creating him in that image?
