2023-07-31 19:08:25 +0000 UTCSo many of my favorite shows are being reacted to lately. So happy 😊 Quick correction, Haikyuu is still ongoing. The music director for the show is Yuki Hayashi, and his OSTs are bangers. Haikyuu is that one show that always had clean and consistent animation for every episode (slight changes in S4, but that's for later), and the music and voice acting hits when scenes get serious. Speaking of voice acting, you guys will hear a lot of VA's that you have already heard before. Just to point out a few characters that share the same VA: Rengoku (DS), Genos (OPM), Eren-Levi-Reiner (AoT), Toge (JJK) and many more. Yeah, this show has a lot of characters 🙃but that's expected from a show with a lot of volleyball teams. Plus, the characters in this show are really well written, I'm sure you will like them. Hope you guys enjoy the journey! Incoming Haikyuu fandom in the next couple weeks lol

2023-07-31 18:43:53 +0000 UTCAlso you guys don’t have look upto a lot of rules as one of the best things about this anime is they explain the rules and volleyball in general very well, they explain it like they are explaining to a middle school kids so it will be very easy to catch up. Also I can guarantee you lot this is one of the animes where you two will end up loving almost every character.

2023-07-31 18:39:19 +0000 UTCThis anime will be a fun journey :). By the way, depending on the tournament, volleyball can also be played in best of 5 sets instead of best of 3 sets. When it's best of 5, and the teams are tied 2-2, the 5th set becomes 15 points only, not 25. Just a tip that might be helpful along the way. Another important rule is that each team has only 3 touches to spike the ball, so they can't keep passing to each other many times. A block however is not considered as a touch. For example, if a player partially blocks the ball and it goes backwards to his teammates, they still have 3 touches to make. The three touches are usually called: 1: Pass or Receive - 2: Toss (normally done by the setter) - 3: Spike.

When Shoyo is watching the TV at the start of the episode he is still at the beginning of Junior High and he is watching a High School named Karasuno's volleyball team. Shoyo entering the tournament is a little over 3 years later which is him in his last year of Junior High, as well as Kageyama's last year of Junior High. The end of the episode is his first day at Karasuno, the High School he was watching on TV, where he is surprised to see Kageyama.
