Ep 10 made me tear up with the bittersweet mother-daughter conclusion, but for some reason, this episode got me harder. Aiden was just some bloke out in the fields who wanted to join the battle to fight for a good cause, but ended up never returning back to his family and soon-to-be lover. When all of them thank Violet ππI swear anytime I comment on the VE reactions, I always leave at least 1 crying emoji lmao. Fk me, this show loves to pull on my heartstrings.

Watching it with y'all helps. Edit: As a german myself, I am always so honoured when the japanese use german in their anime. For example, the names for locations in this are often german and english. Leidenschaftlich for example is the german word for passionate! Or in the flashback with the major in the last episodes, Machtig (MΓ€chtig) is 'Powerful' Even my sister, who doesn't ever watch anime shed a few tears when I watched this with her :')
