It’s not an excuse the same way pixar films having childish elements isn’t an excuse, it’s what they are. You guys are watching something geared towards teens, that’s the reality lol. I’m not commenting on how much or little there is, I mean because even if there’s a little here, there was groaning already. And in DS too for some other channels, when there’s not alot in that show too. Just offering perspective that it’s literally like complaining about childish elements in childrens stuff or complaining about melodrama in a soap opera.

The one on the right was that dog-chimera and the one of the left was the girl who got killed by Wrath while she was inside Al's armor when him and Ed first met Greed.

2023-07-21 01:51:47 +0000 UTCJust a little bit back story for you that will see in Ep45, May will pass by a town call Youswell, the town was controled by Yoki, he just slightly mentioned on Ep38. The town people was hate Ed because Yoki was military and impose them high taxes, the military government was all bribe by Yoki so they can't complain, Ed as a military state alchemist was also hate by them. After Ed help them free from Yoki, they are grateful that not all military people are bad. That's why you will see Youswell people being very nice to helping May, because they repay the help from Ed. FAMB cut this little chapter from beginning because of the show length, but Arakawa (the Author) really show how Ed and Al impact the world from little detail.

2023-07-20 19:49:39 +0000 UTCAnge is literally the first person I’ve seen across mutliple anime react channels to point out the reason why there’s fanservice in most of these animes. A lot of animes, certainly the shonen genre, are geared towards teenagers. Males, usually. I think female geared anime/manga has a different term but yes these are skewed towards a younger demographic. We don’t have to like it but complaints about it are like complaining about pixar films having kiddish elements. It is what it is.
