My theory is Pride refer himself to the first homunculus because after Father absorbed Xerxes people, Father think he become a superior existence, not again refering himself as homunculus anymore and put Pride to the first homunculus place.

2023-07-19 03:31:29 +0000 UTCI know you're annoyed that the stone was there near ed but it's already been mentioned that they would rather not use the stone since they view the souls in the stone as human still. Only reason ed used it that one time was because he had literally no other option and since ed still had the option to use his own life force to save himself he would rather risk that then use another innocent soul for his own mistakes.
