If we were to wait on Re:Zero and instead watch a more light-hearted anime, what are some of your recommendations!

We’ve seen Bocchi mentioned so we’ll definitely add that to a poll.

Light hearted anime recommendations in no particular order. 1. Interviews with Monster Girls 2. School Babysitters 3. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill 4. Barakamon 5. AmaAma to Inazuma (Sweet and Lightning) 6. Honey and clover 7. Spice and Wolf

Fruits Basket. The 2019 one and onward since that's the reboot. Although the original anime from 2001 is still good. It just wasn't finished back then. It's really good.

Citrus Rind

Tsurezure Children, cute romance show about multiple couples.

TPG

Hunter X Hunter

Sad that nobody mentions’ Fruits basket’. One of the best remake of the classic romance anime. Very wholesome and has great drama.

You two would LOVE my dress up darling. All this love for Konosuba is well deserved, but you never watched an isekai before. The jokes would be half the fun for you.

Konosuba others have said, like Re Zero it's an isekai but primarily engineered towards comedy and taking the piss out of the genre. Yes, it's better to watch after knowing more about isekai, but at the same time, unless y'all are gonna go out of your way to become an otaku and research the gags and themes that come up a lot, it won't matter anyways. If not Konosuba, I've seen a couple of people mention Dragon Ball Z Abridged. At the start, you can incorporate multiple episodes into 1 upload (since at the very start they're really short and the final episodes of it became full-length episodes). With this there should also be 0 issues with copyright, it appropriately fits y'alls channel given that you do Super, and we can see your reactions to the show up to the cell saga (they ended after cell :c) and the old movies.

If we're talking light-hearted comedy something like "Hinamatsuri" would be fantastic. There haven't been a lot of reactions to that slightly older anime, but it's one of my favorite comedies. "Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle" is another short series I loved that's funny while being ridiculously cute. "Campfire Cooking in Another World" is very recent, but it's also in the isekai genre and it's very lighthearted while highlighting delicious looking anime food. If you want pure, dumb fun mixed with some shounen action "Mashle" might be good. If you want Rom-com "My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999" might be a good option. I would also like to recommend "A Place Farther than the Universe," but that might be better as a "Violet Evergarden" replacement considering it has some very emotional moments.

You will love Bocchi the Rock!

“Kakushigoto” - really good anime about a dad and his daughter, its cute, light-hearted and clearly underrated. A little bit sad in the end but so so good (9/10 in my opinion). I’ve never seen anyone react to it (or even talk about it), so it’ll be great if you decide check this one out one day. 🤍

My dress up darling is SSso wholesome

Konosuba - fantastic comedy and great satire supported by a perfect caste for some comedy gold chaos. Sometimes a bit raunchy in its nature is the only drawback.
