The poll was an absolute nail-biter, with MOB Psycho 100 taking a clear an early lead, only to have Re:Zero mount an absolute stellar comeback. There were days of both these series equal in votes! The poll actually ended a 40% split between both shows. However, we as the creator had access to the actual numbers. Just had to download the spreadsheet.

We will begin reacting to the series this week.
We know our Re:Zero fans have it rough right now. It is gut-wrenching to lose in such a way. All we can say is that we are very keen to get to the series at some stage soon. We do not know when that will be, but it'd be cruel not to cover it at some point this year considering how close it got to winning!

I mean I said numerous times the same seems but you mob fanboys really can get that trought your head. Code geass is the better show, but it had no chance of winning because it's an old show from a time were anime was less popular and mainstream so all the new anime fan don't care about it and wanna see get hyped on social media and whatever. So I voted for a show which had a chance to win Re:Zero becasue once again it's factual that Re:Zero has bettre writing but if next time code geass has a chance to win i'll vote code geass, or psycho pass or megalo box or any show that is factually better than Re:Zero and have a chance to win the poll. I actually praised code geass more than Re:Zero through the whole poll, and i think i dissed mob more too just becasue well mob fanboys clearly are those new anime fan i was talking about earlier. So i guess those fan when they saw me talk about Re:Zero being better they went all "he don't like this one show i've seen and decided it was the best show ever reeeeeeeeeeee" but the fact is If i had to do a tierlist of everything i ever watched Re:Zero would be B tier but Mob is C tier or at the end of B tier that's it. But again it was my bad to assume people would get a simple point after so many messages, it's one of my flaws I always assume poeple are smarter than the actually are.

I'm not saying that Re:Zero-reactions are in general better, I'm just more interested in them. It's a personal-preferance thing but I am more interested in reactions to character-, emotion, and story-driven shows like Vinland Saga season 2 compared to action-heavy ones like season 1. Mob is season 1 and Re:Zero season 2 in this case. 1 is something I love to watch casually in private and 2 is something I love watching reactions to and hearing discussions about. I wasn't even trying to complain about Mob winning, just wanted to vent a little. In the end I'm happy for the people who wanted Mob-reactions and I will tune in for the peak-episodes of every season. Especially the final season has some really good ones.

Mob is more wholesome and the characters are a bit more enjoyable, but at the end of the day it is a shounen series meant for kids. It is a very cleanly written series, with beautiful animation, but I really think some episodes in Mob are completely uninteresting.

They might enjoy it even more and get the most out of it and remember what happened in the seasons before better. It was similar with Vinland. Mob just has the advantage, that it's finished.
