So you'll see Yuuji, Megumi etc soon! Geto's ability is to control unbound curses, which he has to absorb to get control of them. Carlie's theory is not wrong but not confirmed - curses are made up of negative energy so it does take a toll on Geto, but that's not why his views changed. You'll learn why. And well done for spotting the guy's last name (Fushiguro), some people missed it. To clarify, Megumi's sister, Tsumiki, is not dead but has been in a coma like state for a couple years. She was cursed but in season 1 no one knows why. They're also actually not related, Tsumiki is more of an adopted step-sister. Her mum and Megumi's dad got together/ran off when both kids were young.
