I would recommend: Bocchi the Rock - It's nice to have a light hearted show amongst the mix of reactions. This one is a personal favorite with the music, the artistic expression in many scenes, the slight "I understand this characters social anxiety" to an extent. I went into it fairly blind and it became a great comedic hit. (genre: comedy) Mushoku Tensei - This one is kind of the grandfather of the "Isekai" genre in anime and manga. Isekai meaning characters are somehow transported into another world. The novels came out a while ago, but they created a new animation studio specifically to adapt the novel/manga into an anime. The animation is gorgeous as your sent into a whole new world filled with magic, monsters and adventure. I don't believe you've reacted to an Isekai anime yet, but this one is a great place to start. (genre: drama, fantasy, isekai, at points a bit lewd) Wotokoi: Love is hard for an Otaku - Another fairly light hearted anime about two adults in an office environment who are both otaku's trying to have a relationship and its ups and downs. This one was a nice change of pace amongst all the high school themed anime, made it easier to relate to as I grew older. (genre: romantic comedy)

For a popular title, I have to say Mob Psycho 100. A modern classic. One of the best series of the past decade, with 3 seasons of goodness. Mob is a psychic equivalent of Saitama, but what OPM lacks in character depth, MP100 has in spades. It has everything from crazy battle sakuga to hilarious exchanges, but most of all it is a series with a big heart. My next recommendation would be Made in Abyss, but I’m honestly not sure how you would handle this one because things get rather dark. For a wild card pick, I’d recommend Odd Taxi. Not as popular as other recommendations, but short, sweet, and succinct; it wraps up beautifully in 13 episodes with no strings attached. A murder mystery involving a walrus taxi driver as a reluctant protagonist, but with next to nothing to do with animals. It is a mature show that belies its innocent appearance by respecting audience intelligence and asking the viewer many questions, all while having most of the answers hiding in plain sight - if you only knew where to look. I guarantee fun discussions with this one!

I would recommend Mob Psycho 100 but you guys usually only do subs but that dub is fantastic. It's got mad animation for the action scenes but it's really all about the heart of the characters especially Mob. Plus Ange will love Reigen as he's the Loosest of units.

These recommendations are some hidden gems... Run with the Wind (23 episodes) - slice of life/sports anime that is about a rag tag University/college track team. I love the fact that it is about older characters and not your typical high school characters. The animation is goo, the OST is great, the character development is good and it runs the emotional gambit. Although it is about sports is not strictly about the sports, it just what ties the characters together. Link Click (11 episodes for season 1., season 2 will start on July 14) - Mystery/supernatural. Now this is NOT an anime it is a Chinese Donghua (basically Chinese Animation). The Original language is Chinese but has English Subs (Crunchyroll). The writing on this story is very tight and efficient, they characters, plot and animation style unique. I could compare it to something else you recently watched but that would give away one of the interesting plot points. Honestly, should give it a try for something different, I think you'd be surprised at how good it is.

Made In Abyss, while there are some scenes containing mild nudity you might be a lil put off by, the show won Anime of the year 2018, which was a good year for anime. It's likely the "darkest" show in terms of themes out there that is still good (others go dark but most lack a real story). The soundtrack is PHENOMENAL, get Ange to listen to "hanezeve caradhina" and I'm sure he'll fall in love. The composer for every track is "Kevin Penkin" an Australian man too! There are some scenes most people will be like "eh lil weird", but it's cause the author wrote it to be a regular show, e.g. it doesn't shy away from mentioning (not showing) body parts. I'm sure if y'all watch it and at the least finish season 1, y'all will know if it's for you. (I'm more than betting my membership it is lol) You should have 0 troubles with Patreon copyright, and as for YouTube copyright just be careful with the scenes with more vocal music. It can get claimed semi-easily, but it'll be obvious to avoid that anyhow. I think Made In Abyss will inevitably make it onto the channel someday. as a winner of Anime of the Year awards and as a top 50/100 anime + a genuinely good show. To be personal: I used to watch a ridiculous amount of anime, I slowed and lost passion cause a lot of stuff felt similar (Think how chainsaw man and JJK kinda have similar stories), after being stubborn I bit my lip and watched Made In Abyss (seen 400~ anime at the time) and it fully reignited said passion!

Put simply, the plot is about a superhuman firefighter force that formed in order to deal with supernatural fire incidents in a post-apocalyptic world. The MC is Shinra Kusakabe, the newest recruit to the 8th Special Fire Brigade who dreams of saving the world. It has a lot of mystery and world-building.

I'm of the opinion that Fate/Zero should come first. The UBW anime was released after the Fate/Zero anime, and it works under the assumption that you've watched Fate/Zero. No matter how they enter the franchise, there will be a period of some confusion, so I think chronological order makes sense. Now, it wouldn't be my preference, but I could also support watching the '06 anime first... but I can't recommend watching UBW first.

Hunter x Hunter one of the best journeys full of hype action, amazing power system, and also emotions. In my opinion Arc 5 is the greatest anime arc of all time. Definitely a huge time investment though. Mob Psycho is hilarious and also incredibly touching, several tearjerker episodes for me. Definitely a show I was surprised you guys hadn't reacted to.! Made in Abyss and Re:Zero are some other great adventures, dunno how much they fit the vibe of shows you've reacted to in the past, but top tier for me. 3-gatsu no lion/March Comes in like a Lion is one of the goats, but it's very slow and artsy and unfortunately I'm not sure how many viewers would turn up for it.

Surprised to see so few recommending Cowboy Bebop. It is one of the GOAT Animes, perhaps its "so old" that many young people simply havent watched it yet but im certain you guys would love it. Its a more adult series with a lot of western influence and for Ange, it has some of the best music you will hear in any series period. Just the intro alone is absolutely iconic. It also EASILY has the best English dub out of any Anime (yes, even better than the FMAB dub). I would personally say the series has aged extremely well, the animation still holds up and the music simply is timeless. Its also "not that Anime" and maybe more similar to something like Arcane which is a little change of pace. Its only 26 Episodes + a movie and it has a definite Ending.

Overlord! Currently 4 seasons long and ongoing, around 50 eps. Basically an isekai where a dude playing a game gets transported to a new world, but WITH the NPCs in the guild he's in, and they gain sentience and undying loyalty. And throughout the series you effectively root for our anti-protagonist. Suuuuper fun anime that does power scaling in a fun way.

Re:Zero - (2 seasons? I've only seen the 1st) I believe you guys mentioned that other than Oshi no Ko you all haven't delved that much into reincarnation anime. Re:Zero probably has some of the best character moments/arcs in the reincarnation/isekai anime that I have seen. The challenges that the protagonist has to go through had me on the edge of my seat multiple times. (trying to be as vague as possible but Re:Zero is so so so good) Death Parade - Short anime (12 episodes) that tackles the idea of, "what happens after you die," and "who gets to decide that, what are they judging you on?" It does a really great job of exploring these ideas and the two protagonists differing ideas on the matter are amazing to think about/decipher. (Also the intro is an absolute banger, that alone wanted me to recommend it to hear the cover lol) Anohana - Another short anime (11 episodes). Probably one of my personal favorite series. It's more Slice of Life and deals with a group of childhood friends who have drifted apart. The anime covers what caused their separation and how they now interact with each other differently because of their own "skeletons." Love your guy's reactions as always!

I have several first would be Blood Blockade Battlefront (Imagine if New York city was suddenly a hot pot mix of supernatural creatures and normal humans trying to make an everyday living, there is action, conspiracy, drama if you really want to push it, and a bit of romance.) Second would be March Comes Like a Lion (About a highschool professional shogi player, this one is more about the MC and his trauma of losing his family an other people who've experienced lost of loved ones an are trying to come to terms with it, trying to meet the expectations of others/achieve their dreams an goals but fail again and again, All in all i personally think is anime is more about never giving up no matter what despite the pain one is in whether it is physical or mental). Third would be Hajime no Ippo (Boxing anime made by someone who actually owns a boxing gym an uses real life boxing techniques, exercises, famous boxers as reference for fighters. MC was a bullied kid who wanted to learn what it means to be strong; action, comedy, and a bit of drama with some of the boxers backgrounds.)

I would definitely recommend Death Note if yall haven't watched it yet. It is what got me into anime and is arguably considered to be one of 5 legendary animes of all time (others being AOT, Naruto, Bleach and One Piece). The psychological aspect of the anime really makes the Death Note memorable.

If you’re okay with watching a longer show, I would highly recommend Bleach. It has influenced lots of new gen anime like Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Black Clover, etc. The story is amazing, the characters are unforgettable, the villains are top-tier, and don’t even get me started on the soundtrack (I could on for days it’s truly iconic and I think Ange would really enjoy it as well). There is also some awkwardly placed filler but you can skip over it. The anime returned last year after a ten year hiatus to adapt the final arc and the story and animation are on a whole other level. Studio Pierrot really put their heart and soul into animating what is one of the best arcs in my opinion. The arc is divided into four cours with cour 2 starting at the end of this week! Since Bleach is on the longer side it’s definitely a bigger commitment but I think it would be worth watching and would love to see you both react to it in the future :)

Mob psycho - soild pick. Good character, interesting development. Young, sentimental version of OPM. My hero academia - I think this is THE classic shonen series of the era. There isn't super shocking, psychopathic, ground breaking brutal bloodbath, just the hero and his comrades doing their stuff growing and developing. It has quite a lot of seasons but I believe it will conclude next year or so. It will be the perfect replacement if you looking for a long-term series like AOT.

Gon and Killua are the best duo in anime in my opinion. I have a feeling you guys would love the world and characters of both of these.

Wotakoi - Love is hard for an otaku: A show about Japanese otaku office workers dating. It's really sweet and a bit more grown up. Quite a nice spin on the whole romance genre in anime being that A) they are all in mid 20s and B) The anime is not about getting together, but the actual dating itself and life around being in a relationship. A place further than the universe: A very inspiring show. It's about following your dreams, with four young girls going on an adventure with different goals in mind. It's mostly super wholesome and heartwarming. Also important to note. Great music and OSTs. Eighty-six: Dystopian, futuristic mecha show with a great story focusing on complex human emotions, racial disparity and trying to change the system from within. Also the animation is great by stuido A-1 pictures, and the music is done by none other than Hiroyuki Sawano THE GOAT. Kamisama hajimemashita: Shoujo show, that made my mother swoon over a fox spirit ;) It's about a young woman who is kicked out of her house, and has nowhere else to turn. In her darkest hour she meets a stranger and is given a second chance. Might be a bit outside of your interests, and it is a tad old. But it's a dear favourite of ours, so thought to mention it nonetheless. Love from Norway <3 <3 <3

Soooo exciting!! I would like to recommend 2 anime and both anime has such beautiful and great BGMs & OSTs: 1) Fruits Basket (2019): A very sweet, positive, deep and healing anime with the background of highschoolers and zodiac animals.. I really love every characters and Tohru (the female protagonist) is such a tender-hearted, kind and strong character.. 2) Sword Art Online: An anime about virtual reality (VR) game called Sword Art Online (SAO).. I don't know how to describe this anime without spoiling the storyline though.. Let me just say that the players got heavy prices to pay if they fail in the game.. This is the anime that inspire the production of isekai genre in anime.. LiSa is heavily involved in the OPs and EDs of this anime and the BGMs are done by one of my favourite composer, Kajiura Yuki.. I love songs done by Kajiura Yuki such as in anime 'Pandora's Heart' and 'Tsubasa Chronicle/Chronicles of the Wing'.. I don't think anyone can deny that SAO have one of the best OSTs, BGMs and animation..

DRAGON BALL Z ABRIDGED. Team Four Star poured their heart & soul (& money) into this series. It's made by Dragon Ball fan's, for Dragon Ball fan's, and it will surprise you how good it gets. Anyone who loves Dragon Ball will get something out of watching it, once it gets going you won't believe how its fan made because the quality and writing is on par with Funimation's dubs to the point where even the talent at Funimation has acknowledged them. There's no reason any DBZ fan should miss this series, it's made fans happy for years and has even made non DBZ fans and even non anime fans want to watch DBZ. It's great, you'll love it, your viewers will love it, I can't recommend it enough.

Konosuba: A fun comedy that makes fun of the isekai genre. Currently 2 seasons, a movie, and a spin-off season. Avatar the last air bender: A wonderful and amazing show. One of my absolute favorites. About the same length as FMA:Brotherhood. Arcane: While not technically anime it is a very short series that has excellent writing and art direction. It’s only 9 episodes long.

I'd like to preemptively apologize for the length of this, and if you happen to read the whole thing then thanks for your time. That said, I know Ange has only seen a little bit of DBZ: Abridged and isn't convinced it would be a worthy investment of your time (at least so far as the channel goes). I am hopeful that I might change your mind. The show is broken-up into three seasons (with a bunch of the movies on the side as well), and production took place over the span of about 8 years. The three seasons respectively being The Saiyan Saga (10 episodes), The Namek Saga (20 episodes), and the Android/Cell Saga (30 episodes). TeamFourStar employs their own voice talents as well as hiring other amazing content creators to work with them. When the main four guys started off they were new to voice acting, writing, video editing, sound editing, and everything else. But as you progress everything gets better and better until you realize that not only is it top-tier comedic content but a genuine love-letter to the series in a way that consistently brings tears to the eyes. The beginning is a little rough, and TeamFourStar has admitted on many occasions that *some* of the jokes haven't aged so well - but you'll start to see real improvement fairly quickly. Watching this version of the series not only grows to rival that of official dubs/edits, but shows you the journey of how a team of passionate Dragon Ball fans came together and really put forth their all to show loud and proud just how much the show means to all of us. I would personally put it among my favorite shows of all time along with Dragon Ball and DBZ themselves. All for different reasons, but I can guarantee that the heart is really there in DBZ:A and you can feel it. If you made it this far, I really appreciate you hearing me out. Maybe some day you all will consider checking it out, even if C&A don't end up watching it with us. And to C&A specifically - u guyz da best <3

1- HunterXHunter 2011: An amazing Shonen Anime, probably one of the top Anime ever created. But it has a very big issue (NOT A SPOILER)... It stopped airing in 2014 without completing the story, and the author went on a loooong hiatus. He recently started writing the manga again but it will be many years before they make it into anime, if they ever will... However, I would still recommend it because it's just so good! 2- My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia): Very entertaining super hero Shonen Anime. Many heroes in this show have very unique powers which makes it very entertaining. I think it's the best superhero themed anime out there (well, not many are there any way XD). Except for Season 5, which is a bit slow, all other seasons are amazing. 3- Kaichou wa maid sama: Old is Gold. One of the best romcoms ever. 4- Erased: Only 12 episodes, but you get attached to the characters and the story line as if it's 50 episodes...

I agree. I think Mob Psycho is underrated. I really like OPM and never miss a new release but its takes forever...like one episode every month or two. who knows how old I would be when it finishes. on the other hand, I think Mob's story was well-paced and concluded pretty nicely.

It features three tournament arcs, but the second one is definitely the most exciting. It also has a pretty good English dub.

I don't know why people don't suggest Parasyte: The Maxim. Genres: Action, Horror, Sci-Fi Themes: Gore, Psychological. This is not a fun anime, Its about an alien parasite that takes controll of the human body but the mc manages to not lose controll but the parasite takes controll of his arm. These parasites comes with some gorey powers, like they open their host body to turn them into a weapon, a sharp lethal weapon. Its scored 8.34 on myanimelist.net. Pretty high i would say.(sorry for my bad english)

Fate/Zero: The show is dark but it's very character driven, has heavy lore, and you can't dismiss the Ufotable animated fights. The concept that sells this show is the Holy Grail War that involves 7 "masters" chosen to fight, and each must summon a "servant" that will participate in the war. What sold me for this show is how every single one of these servants are figures from history/legends. Won't say which figures are in the show, but there are some names you may have heard of. Just to sell the show even more, same music director from Demon Slayer (Kajiura). The only caveat to starting this show is that there are 2 more seasons after F/Z + 3 movies. Will say though, the sequels, especially the movies, are damn good. 86: Another dark show that is character driven, but this is more political and involves mechs. The author took references of discrimination and racism from history and used that as a plot for the show. Think of Eldians and Marleyans from AOT. The music director is the one and only Hiroyuki Sawano (AOT), so you know the OST's are kickass. Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song-: This is my underdog pick out of the three, but the people who have seen it say that they thoroughly enjoyed it. Stole this synopsis from MaL: "When highly evolved AIs set out to eradicate mankind, the carnage that ensues fills the air with the stench of fresh blood and burning bodies. In a desperate bid to prevent the calamity from ever occurring, a scientist bets everything on a remnant from the past". The show is only 13 episodes. Just saw the number of posts here. Good luck going through them 😅😂 I definitely didn't help with my long post

Hunter x Hunter, absolute legendary shonen anime and after AOT my favorite anime of all time. Absolute amazing character arcs and probably the coolest powers in any Anime. HxH is just a masterpiece. If I could watch it for the first time again, I'd probably do that atleast once every year. (it's pretty long tho with 148 episodes - finished anime) Mob Psycho 100, from the same creator as One Punch Man and has comparable humor (and better animation) although I prefer Mob Psycho since I enjoy the side characters more and the story just has more heart. I wouldn't be surprised if Carlie was in need of a tissure or two on this one. For me top 5 anime. (37 episodes - finished anime) Made in Abyss has pretty cute animation although the story might not be that cute. (anime not finished) Akame ga kill has amazing fights without really developing a story, atleast that's what it felt like to me. Although the half-story feels kinda weird I enjoyed the anime. (24 episodes - finished)

I would very much like to see your reaction to the HunterxHunter series. I find its subversive takes on the Shonen tropes to be extremely refreshing and well done. It also has some great characters, sound design, music and animation. I will refrain from speaking any more so I don't spoil the fun of discovering HxH any more than I already have. If you're looking for a new RomCom Your Lie in April is one of my favorites. It has extremely interesting and well written characters while also commenting on some real life topics which I won't spoil here. It also has a single 22 episode season and is a completed story so it isn't as big a time investment as some of the other anime I would reccomend.

Dororo Period Drama, Action Aired together with Demon Slayer and has similar vibes because of the feudal Japan setting. But this one is lot more darker and deeper imo. A tight gripping story in 12 episodes. 2. Welcome to the Demon School, Iruma / Mairimashita Iruma-kun High School, Slice of Life, Fantasy Iruma is one of those MCs that is just a ray of sunshine. I put him along the lines as Tanjiro and Midoriya (from My Hero Academy). 3. Eminence in Shadow / Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! High School, Action, Fantasy This is hard to explain without spoiling... more than anything the characters are so interesting that you look forward to when they meet each other just to see how things unfold. 4. Saga of Tanya the Evil / Youjo Senki Military, Action, WW1 A middle management employee in charge of laying people off gets pushed in front of a train. He gets reincarnated as a little girl in a parallel universe in the middle of WW1. Now, he/she got beef with the God that reincarnated her, 'cuz he didn't ask her permission. 5. School Babysitters / Gakuen Babysitters Highschool, Childcare, Slice of Life This is mostly for Carlie. It's a feel good, disgustingly cute story about a Highschool club that babysit infants during their breaks.

86 and Code Geass 86 has a pretty good setting that is intriguing, it focuses on the morality and the mundane during a semi-futuristic war time. Code Geass is a story about an anti-hero, which is a classic and an older anime. From watching this, you will start to know what is "Chūnibyō" (Japanese:"中二病"), it is one of the most Chūnibyō anime you can find😂. But jokes aside, it has a pretty good plot and keep you wanting more, I rmb I binged all 50eps in 3 days. Imo, I think the writing comes close to AoT if not even.

If you want a fun short action anime I definitely reccomend Blue Exorcist! It was one of my first animes and I love it! (Recommending the sub over dub as well) And if western animation is okay as well, Avatar the Last Airbender if you've not watched it yet (INCREDIBLE show. literally my favorite of all time. don't be fooled by it being a kids show.) And Castlevania is another great adult animated show full of blood and drama and you don't need to know the original games to watch it.

(a girl who have nothing to live for decide to become a slave and is brought by a mage who attend to make her his apprentice. She will embark in a magical journey to heal her trauma and find a new reason to keep going.) Tengen Toppa Gurenn Lagan (2007) just the most weird and epic anime ever made plenty of laughs, chills and tears up ahead, i recommend to listen to the ost called "libera me from hell" if you wanna have a little teaser of the vibe. I mean for real this anime is such a weird masterpiece. (humans have to live underground because they are constantly hunted by the race of the beast man and their overlord who seems hell bent on controlling the human population but the discovery of an old wird machine by a young man during his drilling to expand his underground village might change the world and maybe even the universe.) Psycho pass (only the first season) an amazing sci-fi thriller about a "perfect and utopic system" made to counter crime have a vibe similar to minority report if you know the film. Just has insanely well-written character. here are my recommendations Tengen toppa gurenn lagann is mpy favorite anime and is finished with 27 episodes so you know once it's done it's done and you don't have to wait for another season. You should check out “To Your Eternity” it’s a great one, very emotional. “Dororo” is another good one, it’s a feudal samurai one that was animated by MAPPA. “My Hero Academia” is another good one, if you want to root for another pure hearted kid this is it. It will probably be on its last season this next year. “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” is a long and absurd ride but it’s worth the watch, lots of crazy and fun battles and it’s pretty funny too. “Made in Abyss” is one of my favorites and it has a beautiful sound track all the way through. “Fate/Zero” it’s part of a whole series of different animes and a few movies that are all branching paths, same studio that did Demon Slayer. “Blue Lock” this is a sports one and will have you at the edge of your seat every episode. And it’s you want a really long one to sink your teeth in check out “Bleach”. You would have to skip some filler episodes but it’s worth the watch especially with the new seasons. You will see similarities in it to stuff like chainsaw man, jujutsu Kaisen, and demon slayer. At least I think so. I think it helped inspire at least one of those series. Anyway hope you can eventually enjoy at least one of these!

In case you want to watch another shonen and don't mind it being a bit longer, then I would strongly suggest Hunter x Hunter. It is for me the best shonen anime of all time and it is also my favorite anime all around. The story and characters are great and I think you would enjoy it as well! In case you want something more "mature" then I would recommend Code Geass. It has two seasons of 25 episodes each and the story is amazing. Also, another anime I recommend is Fate/Zero (followed by Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Bladeworks and the Heaven's Feel movies) but I also advise you to pay close attention to it because there are a lot of things that need to be understood well. Also, it is made by Ufotable so the annimation is just amazing. And finally, another one that talks about very serious topics and is very mature is Banan Fish. The story is amazing and it is very different from anything you have watched so far. I strongly recommend it but just note that some scenes are very hard to watch. Anyway, sorry for the long post! I just hope I was able to help in some way :)

I recommend Hunter x Hunter 2011. Possibly the best shonen anime in terms of consistency. By consistency I mean how it starts out as a 9/10 show and just keeps getting better and better leading to one of the greatest arcs in all of anime. This is pretty much the only action adventure anime I consider to be better than One Piece because the OP anime is pretty inconsistent later down the line even tho the manga is probably the best shonen manga. I think you would LOVE "Mob Psycho 100". Studio Bones, same who animated FMA:Brotherhood. It's a complete series, and the final season finished earlier this year. Very highly rated and regarded. It's a comedy/action/drama anime about a boy with psychic powers who tries to figure life out. Lots of action, but very wholesome with a lot of interesting character development. Amazing animation. Pretty light hearted, but many very interesting themes and great support characters as well. Not too long, each season is 12 - 13 episodes.

Would love to see some comedy anime. Gintama is the king of all comedies but may be too long for you guys at the moment, but I would recommend watching on your free time. For a reaction series Daily Lives of Highschool Boys and Nichijou are both relatively short and hilarious.

MOB Psycho 100- Super wholesome and delightful show with some incredible, beautiful, unique animation and incredible action scenes. Also it's a complete show now, so you can finish it without worrying about future seasons. Assassination Classroom - Goofy ridiculous comedy with a huge heart and a really wholesome message. Bocchi the Rock- The best "getting a band together" anime I've seen. Good music. Great sense of humor and inventive animation. Also gives a fairly accurate representation of extreme social anxiety. Dr. Stone- Great premise about re-inventing civilization from the ground up using science. Great characters. Makes science feel hype. Made in Abyss- Beautiful, creative fantasy with a very dark edge. Some weird elements that make it uncomfortable at times, but overall really good. Madoka Magika- A magical girl show. One of those that you are better off not knowing much about going in. But highly regarded and really interesting. Stein's Gate - Incredible, twisty, time travel plot with memorable characters. Very compelling and fun.

86 is a really good anime to pick up, it has excellent visuals/music and the plot is quality discussion material (1 season, 2 parts, 23 episodes total). Alternatively, if you want a visual spectacle and a story that hits you in the feels, Mob Phycho 100 is really good (3 seasons, 12-13 episodes each).

Death Note. It’s relatively short and an iconic anime with a protagonist that isn’t typical of most animes. It’s probably the first non shounen anime that a whole generation of people got introduced to that showed how broad the medium can be and it’s a very different anime that rounds out the anime watching experience. Code Geass is also a good option as it’s somewhat of a death note+attack on titan combo, broadly speaking at least. Also similar to FMA, it’s sprawling and epic while being pretty tightly written with generally few wasted characters and past plot points being roped back in and called back to.

Made in Abyss. It's a really dark anime about a group of adventurers who descend an endless pit in search of answers to a bunch of mysteries about the world and their lives. It has a cutesy art style but is easily one of the darkest and most disturbing anime out there, so content warning, however if you can stomach the darker parts it is a masterpiece of a mystery show and a genuine adventure, the writing is top tier, characters are all amazing, and it's gonna be the most memorable anime you ever watch, guaranteed. It's especially good for theory crafting so if you enjoyed the mystery aspect of Steins Gate you'll love it. It's 2 short seasons (12-13 episodes each) and a movie in-between so not super long either.

Black Clover. It’s one that people either love or hate, but for me it’s up there and it’s still ongoing and they just released a movie not too long ago. Hunter x Hunter is also a really good one! One that keeps you on your toes and has some epic moments and great fighting! Or if you don’t mind a quite a bit of episodes I’d recommend Bleach! Just recently started picking up again and has amazing fighting scenes and a very good story!

Its not an anime, but if you want something with phenomenal writing, short and sweet with a solid ending, i highly recommend checking out Black Sails. Its 4 seasons with about 10 episodes each and its up there with Vinland Saga for me with the best written stuff ive seen.

I could watch The Ancient Magus Bride over and over and never get tired of it. It’s a kind of cross between Beauty and the Beast and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. The sound track and animation are beautiful and the characters are some of my favorites. Made in Abyss is also amazing, the music in that one is also great. In one word, Made in Abyss is an “Adventure” you’ll laugh, cry and everything in between. One of the best Anime of all time IMO.

Vivy: Fluorite Eyes Song. it’s an absolute masterpiece anime original written by the writer of ReZero and animated by WIT who did the first 3 seasons of AOT. it’s one of the most beautifully animated shows there is, the story is thrilling and relates to the problematic development of AI. and it’s only 13 episodes so it would be a quick watch for the channel and allow you to get to another series before long!

BLUE LOCK!!! such a fantastic sports anime but that can come after haikyuu so no rush, noragami, and akame ga kill are nice 24-episode series, ( well noragami has two seasons) classroom of the elite just got its seconds season semi-recently and I personally really enjoy it. Obiviously Naruto, One Piece and Bleach but those are longer and a commitment so no rush for those. Some of my personal fav Isakai- that time I got reincarnated as a slime, and konosuba( amazing for a good laugh) Tokkyo Revengers also got it's season two semi-recently and I think is really good, Dr. Stone is more sci-fi but really good. And Fire Force is a really fun and enjoyable action series. Love the content guys keep doing you!!!

Mobile suit gundam: The witch from mercury. Great starter series for the Gundam franchise. It's a standalone series, not set in the same universe as any other gundam show so you don't need background knowledge to get into it. Was extremely popular in Japan and the series finale actually just aired this last Sunday. Amazing story and soundtrack with lots of character development and awesome fights.
