the ending is hated by a very loud minority, ive seen more praise for the ending then hate but unfortauntely its hard to see that when there is a severe portion of the fanbase expecting it to end one way and it didnt. Personally I like it a lot, it ended exactly as i expected it, my only issue was it felt a little rushed but im confident the episode will flesh it out a little more, isayama has made good changes to the anime which were poor in the manga

I generally don't watch trailers unless it's a show I'm on the fence about, so I've always skipped the AoT trailers. Going in blind without the risk of spoilers, hints, or expectations is the way to go, at least for me. I'll probably watch the trailer (and your reaction to the trailer) after I've seen the finale.

Isn't it counterproductive to tell people that the ending is controversial if you're looking for their genuine reactions to the ending? Oh, and just for the record, I'm an anime-only viewer, but some of the ending was spoiled for me a few months ago by online trolls.

Yeah, I think it was Falco in titan form that was flying behind Mikasa in that scene. Mikasa with wings would have been one hell of a story though.

Carlie has a point though. They agreed to kill Eren if there was no other option and Mikasa obviously didn't seem convinced, so Armin might have to get through her to get to the major, I mean Eren. But that's just a possibility I thought of. Armin's words might have nothing to do with that.

I really appreciate the show for the insane ride it's been until the end. Let me tell you, we got one hell of a battle coming. Action in my opinion at least equal to season 3 part 2. Thank god we have so many other goated animes this year to make the waiting easier.
