I remember being blown away by this finale when I first watched it. I thought they were just gon confess but shirogane went all out. What a masterpiece.

2023-06-15 09:04:01 +0000 UTCJust a bit more until we're completely caught up to Kaguya-sama. Can't wait ! As for another show Koga Aoi is starring as the FMC is "Komi-san can't Communicate". I had a great time with it, although the first season is pretty slow as with most first season slice-of-life shows. Really enjoyed season 2 though. As others mentioned, as the FMC, she doesn't talk a lot but that's the point of her character. The running joke from viewers was that Koga basically got easy money for that role because she just makes noises every once in a while, but let's be real, she's really good at making those noises as we've witnessed from Kaguya's character lol. Hope it comes up in a poll someday 😄

The "Read President's mind to figure out where he is game" line is a reference to S1 finale where Miyuki also says "Read Kaguya's mind to figure out where she is". Oh wait, the episode refers to that as well, nvm. "I can see the movie being a 3 month timeskip." Oooh boy! So, I've said this a bunch of times, but the true meaning of "Love is War" comes after the confession.

You'll be happy to know that there is still PLENTY of story left, the movie adapts a smaller arc that for sure worked better as a movie, but the story is far from over. Our beloved side characters get some more time to shine now after the movie. I am glad they didnt, but if they did decide to end the series here, it was a banger of a finale.

She actually won "Best Female Voice Actress" award in 2020 for her role as Kaguya. (In 2021, Ishikawa Yui won it for her role as Violet Evergarden, just saying 👀). Most of the main cast is relatively young and they don't have many major roles other than Kaguya Sama. Actually, both Kaguya's and Chika's VAs are in Demon Slayer. They did two of Tanjirou's younger siblings who died in the beginning XD. You may not know this, but the manga has a little more content (basically the anime skipped some chapters here and there to to make everything fit into the 30 min format for 12 episodes per season)... And most of the Openings and Endings feature call backs to those "unadpated" manga episodes... The Movie Opening, in my opinion, is the most packed in terms of references... And when it came out (the Blue ray version, in 4 episode format), i was truly surprised... I hope you like it (even if you don't read the manga, take your time to pause and look for all the art work they've done for it), it's gorgeous .
