Finland saga lmao that made me laugh so much. But you are right, and I believe the reason is that people want edgy cool Thorfinn but literally won't pay attention to the innocent kid that went on a rampage almost his whole life. I love this show so much

I was hoping you guys would also do reactions to the openings at some point either at the beginning or the end of each part but it seems like that gets skipped over entirely apart from the fact you do covers of them. I know openings sometimes have spoilers if you look too into them but reactions can be done when that opening when the anime has covered up to the ending part of that opening. Vinland for example react to the opening at episode 12 and then the new opening takes over. Or for anime that have a different set number of episodes you could have someone let you know when the openings will change. Just throwing it out onto the comment section

They need a bit of breathing room to savor the show that they are watching and let it simmer, not just blow through it to catch up to the finale. I know they will stick to their schedule anyway, so all this is moot.

2023-05-26 20:19:58 +0000 UTCI think the reason Vinland doesn't get so much attention is because it's Seinen and the prologue was way different (amazing) and some people tend to forget the theme of the show or rather the message of what the Mangaka is trying to tell.

You even had one around here undermining it in comparison to an "obviously" superior show like Black Clover 🤣🤣🤣. I guess those people didn't get any of the show's messages and character motivations and are there just for the fights but this show is truly amazing and made it to my top tier without a doubt, up there with Arcane and Avatar The Last Airbender (which I hope you end up reacting to some day as well).

Thorfinn's VA is Yuuto Uemura, and he has worked a wide range of projects and characters, so yes he has quite the range in his voice acting

2023-05-26 18:13:45 +0000 UTCEp 9: The cocoon finally cracks open and we see the butterfly emerge. The process isn't complete because we can't ease the process of a butterfly on it's way out. It's a pain staking procedure that takes a while for it to completely emerge. They can't fly if they don't push themselves out by themselves. An arduous task ahead but a new life being born, nevertheless. I see the birth of the saga in this episode. Great reaction you guys, as usual; now onto Ep 10.
