Everyone has those sorts of dark kind of evil feelings like that in their hearts and not everyone is good at controlling it. But it would bee to sad to be called evil if you have some darkness in your heart. Maki just has to learn to come to terms with her feelings and move on. Having friends who she can confide in is definitely a good start to do so.
