This isn't a spoiler because we saw her in episode 1, but Gyeong-ran, the kind of all-i-one assistant girl, is actually the bullies' victim after dong-eun. we see them tormenting her in the gym when dong-eun first shows up and tells yeon-jin "from now on, you're my dream"

And scars are a total no-go.. This might explain their reactions maybe. It also clarifies that it is an absolut power move by Dong-eun to show them in this situation and explains why Yeo-jeong went revenge mode as soon as he saw them as well. Btw brilliant thumbnail. The tension in Carlies face is how I witnessed this show as well.... ๐๐
