So we just watched an almost 8 hours build up that wasn't boring for a single second imo. Let's get ready to rumble! Actually the "box story " wasn't such a bad one, but I see someone already told you about Pandora's box. 😉👍 This story is incredible well written. Every episode reveals another secret and although I am not the revenge guy I want to see Dong-Eun getting her revenge or better see the bullies punished.

There's so much symbolism in the way the game is played, but essentially, you make your moves to take over more territory on the board and as the game continues, you use your pieces to trap the opponents by surrounding them. You'll also remember that Yeojeong sewed a black button that looks like a black Go stone in place of Dongeun's lost button. It's like he's giving her the starting right to keep with her always. The power is in her hands to take control and start her revenge plan. As for Yeonjin's explanation of the 'shiny box' which she wants Doyeong to keep closed...it's like a metaphor for Pandora's box. And if you know that legend, you'll know that once opened, all the evils and troubles spill out into the world and can't be captured again. All that's left in the box is hope.
