Was it? I haven't read the manga myself, and it doesn't really give much to me other than a specific part of the story that I have no hindsight perspective to know the context of. Seems pretty tame.

Vinland is literally more childish than shonens with the killing is bad, revenge is bad none sense. Thorfin stopped his friend from killing someone who raped and beat a pregnant women half to death who was pregnant with the baby of the rapist. Wheres the justice in that? Let people enjoy their shows in peace as you'd like people to respect Black Clover if it ever won a poll.
