Ive heard that theory too and i think it also makes sense, only thing that makes me question if thats the reason is im not sure when the battle that Askeladd was at and he saw Thorkell get knocked out, took place. Idk if that was after or before Thors left and if there is a specific answer. But regardless of what caused it, Thorkell has one weakness if you are strong enough lmao
