PATREON OVERHAUL **PLEASE READ**
Added 2023-03-07 10:54:10 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
Please go to our home page and read through our tier descriptions to see what's on offer here on our Patreon! We've just finished up with our Patreon overhaul.
There have been no price changes to any of the tiers.
The only thing left to do is a little bit of rebranding which is currently in the works. You'll see brand new tier names, logos, banners etc. This will all happen in the next few weeks.
We have decided to add our Steins Gate reactions to our FULL JELLIE TIER and any tiers above that. Those reactions likely start tomorrow with episodes 1 and 2. And for those asking, we are currently watching in sub but that is subject to change!
Again, please read through the tiers to see exactly what you are all paying for. We really appreciate all of the support nontheless and we hope to keep improving with the content that we are offering!

2023-03-08 01:35:05 +0000 UTCBro, you're on point. I'm Japanese and even I was confused when I watched this for the first time. The story also starts off very slow and episodes end almost abruptly, so that didn't help my case. As long as they have the mindset going into the show, they'll do fine besides a few cultural differences between AU and JP like the otaku culture and other pop culture references (C&A are reacting, so it'll help them pay close attention; whereas, I was looking for something to watch and wasn't fully focused at the start). 👍

2023-03-08 01:05:36 +0000 UTCIf the reason you guys are considering switching to the dub for Steins; Gate is because you feel lost in the story (plot) in the beginning, don’t worry, I’d bet nearly all viewers have a thought along the lines of ‘wtf is going on?’ as the crazy atmosphere of the show is very intentional. Although, I can also understand if it’s more of a processing issue; the fast paced dialogue and abrupt cuts combined with the eccentric personalities and specific Japanese cultural elements that haven’t been in the animes you have already reacted to can certainly make it challenging. I’ve seen both and much prefer the sub for many reasons but won’t get into specifics unless prompted as I don’t want anyone to feel like I’m attacking their opinion. So, I’m hoping your concern is the former of the reasons I mentioned, in which I’d strongly recommend continuing with the sub. If it’s the latter, it’s all good too, as great stories don’t rely on the VA. Of course, the reason I’m here is because I value your reactions, thoughts, and opinions, and I wouldn’t want that hindered if the processing is a struggle. Hopefully the organization doesn’t sabotage my post…el…psy…congroo. <3

2023-03-07 17:03:58 +0000 UTCas a super big fan of steins gate im looking forward to the content. i recommend just watching it in sub if you started with it. both sub and dub is great, people just talk about the dub a lot online because its not often you get a great dub.

2023-03-07 16:54:55 +0000 UTCI think you guys should watch the Dub for one of either steins gate or kaguya sama for fairness. We never seem to get any dubs so it would be a good change up.

2023-03-07 12:55:20 +0000 UTCHaven't seen the dub so it could be refreshing to rewatch it through ya'll if you switch so no worries here - I hear its just as good. Although it does make sense from a reactors standpoint since its a lot easier for you guys to convey your thoughts without missing anything

2023-03-07 11:55:29 +0000 UTCI certainly hope it remains in sub. Dub has some amusing moments, true. But it's a Japanese story in a Japanese setting with Japanese characters. Some cultural eccentricities just don't translate well. Sub is definitely the preference imo. I hope you both enjoy it nonetheless! It's a ride and a half.

2023-03-07 11:21:05 +0000 UTCI'm soooo ready for Steins Gate! Heads up: it's a slow build so it takes a bit to pick up pace (it's necessary) but other than that the story is an absolute masterpiece.

2023-03-07 11:03:44 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to the stand alone recommendation on the golden teir can we suggest music videos like for example Japanese artist as that's related to anime as a whole just not one of your specific series you've done?
