2023-03-03 07:18:43 +0000 UTCThey filmed this during Covid times, so every mall everywhere kinda looked like that. No set design was actually necessary. In all seriousness though, there is a line later on in episode 4 where Ellie tells Joel that the kid wasn't the first person she had killed. She most likely spent a day with Riley and saw her turn while she was completely ok, waited there with her until Marlene showed up to pick up their firefly supplies where they took Ellie hostage. I loved every episode up to this point, this episode for some reason did not cut it for me.

2023-03-01 15:27:38 +0000 UTCAs a non-player (this will change when the pc version is availableπ) I loved this episode a lot. The way this show developes chemistry between characters is unreal. The tension between Ellie and Riley was obvious from the first minute imo. Still it was done very subtle (a glance here, a nervous reaction there) . And Ellie and Joel really need no dialog any more to deliver their feelings . Just fingers clutching eachother and I am a wreck ππ I am happy with little action (keep it for the gameπ) as long as we get such great episodes. Such great performances. β€οΈ
