On a lighter note: This show does suck out the humor, fairly quickly : Geography Facts: Finland: Too many shark fins seen along the coast, hence the name. Iceland: Too cold even after the rumbling. Denmark: When you mark a cave with a predator but the predator presents itself to the UN to claim itself as a country. Vinland: Only when you reach the end goal. Now I hope you are well versed in Geography :).

I was a huge fan of the Lion King, and I see major threads from Hamlet incorporated in here. In fact I could go a bit further and call this Amleth's story (The original Nordic version of the play); the anime version. It's not as cut and dry as the original but it has the exact same foundation. I also have a feeling Askeladd is keeping Thorfinn alive to have a noble death in the end.
