Full-length reaction format update!

You may have noticed a change in our full length reaction format in our Vinland Saga episodes. We want to reiterate that this is a trial period and it wont be on EVERY single video just yet. Some will still be the watchalong format until we get everything sorted out that we need to. We did initially plan on implementing this in March, but we’ve decided to trial out a few different strategies with these videos early.
We’ve received some feedback and for the most part people have really welcomed the change which is great! We will however continue to edit portions of those videos to adhere to fair use. Although some platforms arent strict with their copyright algorithms, we still would rather be safe than sorry! We’ll continue to keep you all updated! ❤️

2023-02-14 05:37:38 +0000 UTCWould you guys consider doing full reactions without skipping op/ed (if you really need to skip one, skipping ed is preferable). The thing with this current format is that some people would still prefer to sync up their own version since we can look at the entire screen and not just part of the image. But since OP is being skipped, we're still having to sync up twice (or three times if people watch scenes after the credits, such as in OPM) every episode. Adding to what someone else said about full screens at the corner, I know that one react channel is using sync.com being able to show full screen in the corner and hasn't had any issues and that's the only one where I don't sync up my own version but can still enjoy the full ep (and movies) reactions.

Maybe Carlie & Ange could lower the volume for their video slightly, that way when you're watching, it can't be heard overlapping your own as much as it is currently. I am loving the changes made, and would not want them to do even more work than they already are. I do see however, where the issue you're running into could be an inconvenient viewing experience!

2023-02-13 20:46:28 +0000 UTCNew format is good for a lot of people especially those who view on phones etc, but for those of us who like to sync up with our own episodes for the best quality video and audio, it's unfortunately a downgrade as the audio within your new version overlaps and echo's with our own synced up audio. i don't know if it's a lot of extra work or not but is an alternate link with just a timer or something similar possible?

2023-02-13 05:58:10 +0000 UTCGreat to hear that u guys are listening to feedback 👍🏻 FYI, one common format that all the big reactors (they react to not only anime but popular show such as TLOU, GOT, or either full length 2 hours movie so this method is tested and completely safe) use are full screens at the corner, with full audio and no overlay is needed. They either use Vimeo or the default Patreon media player. Hope it helps
