One Punch Man!

This was the result of our Patreon poll and it won by an overwhelming majority. You can expect to see Episode 1 not too long after we finish Chainsaw Man. It may not be right away, but it will be closely following. Hope y’all are having a great day/night.

2022-12-31 21:17:43 +0000 UTCIn my comment, I accidentally made it sound like ever since Maruyama left Madhouse, the studio's works have diminished completely. That's definitely not true. So, allow me rephrase what I meant: Madhouse's recent works (maybe from the past 5 years or so) have not been as great as they used to be. I'm sure there are shows that some people enjoyed in that timeframe, but the general consensus is that they've basically fallen off. To throw in my bias, the last show I enjoyed from them was "A Place Further Than The Universe" and that was from 2018. Again, I'm not correlating 100% that Madhouse's quality have dropped because of Maruyama leaving, but rather due to most of the other talents leaving as well. Hope I was able to convey what I meant 🤔

2022-12-31 11:54:40 +0000 UTCI'm sure you guys will have a good time with OPM. It's a very easy show to get into, especially if you know Dragon Ball and other basic anime tropes. One thing to note is that season 2 is done by a different studio, so the quality drops quite a bit since the first season was done by studio MADHOUSE who was prominent for their animations (hence my respect for their work via my name. I swear I didn't steal it because it sounded cool😅). Fun Fact: They're not what they used to be because some of the staff left due to management issues. Interestingly enough, Masao Maruyama, one of the staff that left, ended up creating what we know now as studio MAPPA, which you two are well familiar with. MAPPA is basically the new MADHOUSE in terms of consistent releases of quality-anime.
