The fan service isn’t actually fan service. I think it’s very important for the characters.

2022-12-17 10:02:55 +0000 UTCI think what some people have a problem with is the fact that the "fanservice" is a major aspect of the story (atleast from what we've seen so far) so it turns them off from the show more than other shows which have a shot of fanservice here and there for no reason. So maybe it's just not their cup of tea or they are too used to anime doing fan service for no reason and think that this is the same case but done way too excessively.

You just said she was frustrating, but that's enough to push these weirdos over the edge.. for some reason there are like an army of kobeni stans that will literally take over your channel and spoil everything because they're mad people don't like her character. I'm not saying I'm one of them but I had watched another reactor that he had to go and finish reading the manga because people tried to spoil him all because he didn't like kobeni extremely toxic!! So watch out for that. If you say even the slightest wrong thing about her they attack with full force

I've got absolutely no problem with it, but what purpose did the frame from behind Makima showing her ass sitting on the bench in episode 2 serve? Hell, that shot was a meme in of itself because of the fanservice. I know its tame, its just a hilarious that so many people can't allow anything to be said that they perceive as potentially negative when its about their favorite anime,

2022-12-17 05:28:13 +0000 UTCIt is a strange way that most people see this, because we have anime like seven-sins that are blatant about fan-service, groping and sexualization of underage characters... Same with One Piece and other anime that has one or more characters focused on not being able to control their assaults on girls, where only slap-stick humorous interventions prevent them from actually doing it. Yet this anime, where the protagonist is honest, yet so far has not crossed any boundary in regards to consent, is considered "worse" than these others. I mean, even with regards to how much skin is showing, this is fairly tame!

2022-12-16 17:26:11 +0000 UTCPersonally, I think that while Aki did save Denji because Denji can help him fight the Gun Devil, he also maybe sees his dead little brother in Denji (Taiyo would probably be around Denji's age if he had survived), so he doesn't want to get Denji killed, bc he undoubtedly feels like he got Taiyo killed by sending him back into the house.

Nevertheless, I hope you guys are enjoying the show. You are amazing reactors <3 It's really different from what we're used to in shonen. It's very mature, dark and wicked and that's what makes it standout so well. Please keep in mind that every scene that goes into "adult stuff" has its purpose in the story and is not fan service by any means.
