2022-12-08 19:41:10 +0000 UTCI find Denji very refreshing. Like Ange said, most shonen protagonists are nice guys that want to help people right from the get go. Usually they're the underdog in their world for some reason, so you can watch them grow and struggle towards a dream that's usually not very relatable. Denji is much more in line with what a teenage boy would be thinking about. Especially one with his background.

The show goes into depth regarding the psychology of its characters. But it takes time for the audience to build a full picture of of each character. I really appreciate your organic reactions so will not spoil a thing about this show. Beware the Manga readers because reactors have already been spoilt on certain characters that I haven’t mentioned.
