It's not afraid to cross the line is not afraid to make you feel uncomfortable. It's a very mature theme show I believe before mappa released the trailer they said they were not going to cut anything from the manga. They weren't going to tone it down. It was going to be just like it was intended. Enjoy the ride!

2022-12-08 00:56:37 +0000 UTCdenji might be like 17 but mentally he's like 13, he has no social skills and that makes him very vulnerable to the older people around him. if you can look at denji that way you'll understand the choices he makes in the future better. he yearns for friends and just the human touch in general so he can get very easily manipulated. not his fault at all btw, he has lived his whole life with a dog in the woods, he's had people take advantage of him and treat him like a dog since he was a kid.

2022-12-08 00:09:32 +0000 UTCHere are a few things that I noticed: 1. Other shows show way more skin and are a lot more pervy... yet this show gets flak for being "too much". Please consider what is actually happening vs other shows, because I think it is so wrong. Consider that there are multiple anime of MC's who grope, or show a very wrong picture of the other gender. For instance: Asking to see the panties of a female is a trait of a popular character in another major anime, except that anime is aimed at kids. 2. This show is considered basic (by some) because of the attitude of Denji... yet it has more layers than pretty much any other show if you give it a chance. 3. Kill the tropes, because they are only gonna be a problem from here on out.
