Full length reactions CONTENT UPDATE
Added 2022-10-17 16:37:38 +0000 UTCWe’re going to be trialling new ways that we release our full length reactions as per some of the feedback we’ve received!
The first change will be that we’re going to attempt to release these videos along side or slightly after (1 hour or so) the EDITED reactions. The reason why this didn’t occur often is mainly just down to time. It takes time to edit, export and upload our full length reactions, and generally, it is extremely late by the time we have finished the edited reaction. We never want to over exert ourselves.
The original intention was that the full lengths would serve as EXTRA content for those that wanted it, but after a lot of feedback, we’re aware that a lot of you in this tier just prefer to watch the full length reactions. The drawback to that, is the absence of our intro and discussion segments in those videos, and we’re aware that a lot of you are switching back and forth between our reactions which is tedious. This leads us onto our second change:
We’ll be adding the intros, music covers and discussions to our full length reactions as well.
These changes will likely result in slightly less frequent uploads as it will take extra time to execute this.

I think with this change we will be able to enjoy your reactions even more, but of course majority decides!

2022-10-18 05:34:20 +0000 UTCI can't speak for everyone, but I think full reactions and edited reactions are good the way they are structured currently. Mostly it seems, the intent behind full reactions is to get the meat of the reaction of said creator, and have the other sections of the reaction, such as the discussion and intro, be more of additional material to enjoy if that's something that people want to do. I think as someone stated above, spending more time on editing full reactions, making uploads less frequent, seems like it's a lot of effort for little gain. Watching the full reaction and then going back to the edited version to view the discussions, really seems like such a small thing to make a significant change for. That's just my two cents. Realistically though, I don't mind that much, and I think whatever you two feel is best for your patreon, is what you should do! Will always be here to support you both and try to give feedback where I can <3

Just want to throw in my two-cents and say that in my case, I wouldn't be able to enjoy watching a full length reaction of a cropped/cut-off show. But, I do completely understand for mobile users though that it can be a pain, and it'd make it easier for you guys if the full lengths had all the content (discussions and covers).

2022-10-17 19:49:28 +0000 UTCThat's a good idea. In the end, it's a win-win for everyone. People who don't want to switch between full length and edited reaction will have their own solution. And for you, it won't take that much time because you can cut those segments and add them to the new full length in just 2 minutes. Also, it is good to keep in mind about hiring 1-2 editors. It'll cost you not that much now that you have a faithful audience, and you'll win a lot in quality of life. It's always a matter of balance between work time, hobby time, couple time, and not to forget, solo time. Sorry for the wall text :) You guys are awesome! Thank you for your effort!

The current style you guys have is perfect for me. Would love if the full lengths came out roughly an hour apart from the edited reaction.

Taking in your own feedback on the time it takes to add things in to the full length, I would say that switching back and forth for the intro/discussion would be okay with me as long as the edited and full length reactions are not released days apart. By then, I'm more interested in the next episode versus your thoughts on the last one.

Personally i actually didn't mind the edited version, i actually liked it more than the full length because it had nice beat to it and you both did a great job to show the subtitles and pieces and audio at the right times. But I'm game with people.
