Don't know if this was ever mentioned, but Mechamaru has the same VA as Inosuke from Demon Slayer. And Kamo, the closed-eyes character from Kyoto with the two braids(?) in front of his face, has the same VA as Rengoku π

Panda said, the first shot from Mechamaru hit his sisters core, so he couldn't use her. That's also the reason why Mechamaru though it would take some time until Panda can stand up again.

Is it just me or did no one mention it yet, but didn't Mai, when she shot Panda, destroy the female core.

Panda = Base form
Gorilla = Brother form (as seen in this episode)
(redacted manga spoiler) = Sister form
There was a lot of info dump in this episode, including info about "puppets" and "cursed corpses". Panda is a cursed corpse created by the principal using the principal's cursed technique. Using this technique the principal can create "cores" and insert them into objects to create a living being (he chooses to use stuffed animals).
Mechamaru is a puppet "robot" that's being controlled from a long distance by the so far un-named student in the bathtub, though he is also a human like everybody else. He just suffers from the condition he described in the episode, which is his Heavenly Restriction. His gives him immense cursed energy usage and control in exchange for severe physical handicaps. As also stated in the episode, Maki also has a Heavenly Restriction that took away her cursed energy in exchange for giving her superhuman strength/speed/reflexes.

I find it kinda funny how you don't think shooting someone is a proper fight, but using cursed techniques is.

Great reaction as always!
Just clarifying some info you might have seen in this episode:
As you've seen in previous episodes, "binding vows" or "pacts" have great relevance in the Jujutsu world, revolving around the concept that "one must LOSE something to GAIN something". "Binding vows" are pacts that one can place on themselves, for example, Nanami's "overtime"
Nanami's "overtime" pact suppresses his cursed energy to about 80-90% while working his normal hours, and in exchange, "overtime" allows him to exert 110-120% of his maximum power.
"Heavenly Restriction" as introduced with robot man, is a pact that is placed on birth. In Mechamaru's case, he has an extremely fragile body, in exchange for an extremely large range-of-effect for his Cursed Technique. This is why he's bitter, because he never "asked" for it.
Loved your reactions as usual, looking forward to the next one!
