Hey Reiner is the Armored titan, he is meant to have plot armor. :) Agree on all counts with you btw. Hot Take: Regarding the battle, I think there is a simple fix, cut it out completely. What I would have actually done is show daemon surrendering, then show the crab feeder dead on the shores in the next scene with an epic shot of daemon standing tall next to him. Have a bard "poeticize" the tale in a feast during the next episode. So you never know whether daemon actually did that or it's just a romanticized version of the account that happened. It's left to the viewers imagination as to how badass he might have been. I started getting Battle of the Bastards flashbacks when the battle started unfolding and if we are hitting this stride in episode 3 of the first season, we maybe in for a very bumpy ride. Edit: @Ange, I will subscribe to a higher tier if Daemon does succumb to those arrow wounds in the next few episodes.

Daemons battle was confusing for me tbh. So the plan was to get them out of their caves right? And the way to accomplish that was to put Daemon on a silver plate (with Reiners plot armor is seems😂) ? Because this would make them ALL come out of the caves and even completely neglect their guards so they could secretly bring in a whole army by ship? I get why Daemon would be in it for sure, but I don't buy the plan itself. 🤷♂️ But despite the battle it was a great episode. 👍

2022-09-05 16:11:43 +0000 UTCHunting the white stag, the king of the kingswood, on Aegons name day would have symbolized Aegon as the next true heir to the throne in the eyes of the kingdom. The white stag went to Rhaenyra instead. If anything, this episode proved that Rhaenyra and Sir Criston are no longer "deer" friends, more likely "stag" friends. I too genuinely feel that Daemon and Rhaenyrs will get married and didn't the crab feeder have grayscale. Why is daemon dragging him around like a loose unit? Edit: Some useless info that I thought you might appreciate, completely unrelated: Arcane won best animated show at the emmy's yesterday.
