Now this outro sees him seeing a future that is probably 1000 years into the future without Mikasa or Armin, devoid of humanity. That should ring certain bells..

Like when the police put Eren on trial. Eren remained silent as they talked about him & the possibility of executing him, not challenging them as they talked all that nonsense about him. But the moment they mentioned Mikasa his heart dropped, & he started screaming. Until Levi kicked his ass.

2022-08-27 00:13:17 +0000 UTCI'll die on the hill that even though it's not technically a spoiler for what the impact is, it quite literally shows crucial scenes that are going to happen in the rest of the season. Just because you don't know when it's going to happen, or why, doesn't mean that the experience of a first time watch is not going to be ruined. Based on the OP, you know that the Beast is going to be using the scattershot of doom on the scouts, which dims the hype around just watching it unfold. The same can be said about Reiner vs Eren occurring again. Based on the OP you also know that Bert is going to explode in Shiganshina, even if you don't know when, you'll still be anticipating it. There is an argument to be made that previous OPs would sometimes show stuff that actually never happens, which could lead the viewer to believe that none of what is happening in the OP is going to come true. However, once it actually does come true, it might possibly be disappointing or not as big of a surprise. A good example I can give of this, only speaking from my experience, is when I watched the OP for S4 PT2, I was actually slightly disappointed the Rumbling happened because I thought the story may go in another direction, or rather I wanted it to.

Sawano has composed for a lot of different anime, and people say all of his music "sounds the same", but I completely disagree. Sure some of his songs can sound similar to each other, but that's because they all have his signature drums and flavoring (as I like to call it), which makes them so epic and unique. Hans Zimmer creates a lot of songs where you can easily tell when it's his tracks playing, and it's the same thing with Sawano. I watched the whole video, and I noticed that I basically had the same exact thoughts and reactions as Ange. Carlie crying during some of these was sweet. I especially loved the band, Cinema Staff, and their talented vocalist and instrumentalists. Just for future reference, if and when you guys react to more openings/endings, you will see the title and band/artist's name during the sequence. Sometimes it's in Japanese, sometimes in English, etc. You'll know because the song has brackets like this. 「Name of Love」 Cinema Staff Thanks for adding the two suite lives at the end there. They're so good! I can't wait until you guys react to more shows with his music in it. Some patrons already mentioned 86, which has some great tracks.

They actually have two music videos of the song, one of the band and the other contains shots from the anime. My favs are AOT, YouSeeBigGirl, THE Rumbling, Red Swan, Shinzou Wo Sasageyeo, and Guren no Yumia❤️❤️ Edit: forgot to add my fav ending songs: Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai, Great Escape, Requiem der Morgenrote, Name of Love, and Akuma no Ko(this one also has a music video). And yes the piano guy who looks like Bert is the composer x) Can't wait for the OVAs and Junior High reactions ❤️❤️

In season 1 and 2 it's mostly just a 14/15 years old boy being annoyed by her treating him like a child and he admits it to her and Armin in season 3 when they are on the stairs (he was only jealous because he felt weak). After that he is never annoyed at her anymore and even obey her. but then, end of season 3, he touches Historia's hand and from this point whatever might have happened between them is already... game over. He knows he has to push her away for his plan. Basically he has no time in the show to start something romantic with her and no reasons to since he wants her to be free from him

No government in the world would have dared to do anything after witnessing his power. He could have settled down with Mikasa, probably had a child, and remained happy for his last 4 years. Instead he became a villain so his friends could have the luxury of freedom instead.

He dreamt to travel in a free world with no one outside. A small scall rumbling was never part of his dream. He wished the world was empty so his friends and him could be free to explore it. It's his deep dark secret. Chapter 131 explains it well. But he also liked his friends so he also acted to benefit them.

I think the reason Eren never revealed his feelings for Mikasa is because as he told Zeke "I only have 4 years left to live". He knows he will die soon, but she has a long life ahead of her. He wants her "to live & be happy". This would also explain why he wanted Louise to throw away the scarf. He wants her to forget about him. Eren sacrificed his dream (freedom) for his friends.

As for S3P2 if I was actively trying to figure things out I think the shot of Erwin with the dead people at the end is a bit spoilery but otherwise I agree with you.

Only then do they realize and then go on to say the intros are super spoilerly and that people should skip them even tho they didnt themselves lol. The other 25% just skip every anime intro always which is their choice i cant convince them otherwise but youre missing out on an entire section of content and the vibe/tone before each episode. Just some of my thoughts at least.

Also on my first watch the OP pretty much confirmed to me that Erwin would be dying. Even though it was heavily foreshadowed in the end of S3 part 1, having it confirmed through an OP kinda sucked :/.

The only spoiler part would be the introduction of the thunder spears. Other than that, everything else just looks like the scouts fighting the Bert, Reiner and Zeke which you would expect. Zeke throwing rocks? You would have no idea about the impact of that. After watching it, you can see the spoilers but not as a first time watcher
