My advise: Take it easy on episodes 17 and 18. Just chill and relax on your reactions, like any normal anime. You need a break before 19-21 hits.

Eren never started the war, nor did he push anyone into war. He pushed them into an offensive battle after years of them being in the defensive. Nor did he force Sasha to join the Scouts. To say he should take full blame is ridiculous. That is like blaming a military commander for the death's of his soldiers in battle. If anyone has a better idea to what Eren did, please share with the rest of us.

I think Grisha could cure the "plague" because he practiced modern medicine. Remember, the people in paradise are using 100-year-old technology. They have not advanced nearly as fast as the rest of the world since they were isolated (Science is a collaborative process, one nation can't discover everything on its own).
We also don't know what this "plague" was. It could have been a well-known disease to Grisha, probably something that has long since been cured by science; but to the islanders, it was something they had no answer for.
Great reaction!

Just to clarify Zeke's plan:
- Sterilize all eldians
- Create a small scale rumbling to intimidate the rest of the world from attacking until all eldians pass
If his plan succeeds not everyone in the world will be wiped out as he does not want to kill everyone outside paradis :)

I see it's already been explained by a few people as to how Grisha cured the disease. Just one detail I wanted to reiterate! Remember that Eren can't actually use the Founding Titan's abilities unless he comes in contact with someone of royal blood (as mentioned in S4 Ep 9). I'm sure you guys are well aware of this, but that's the purpose of Zeke's presence at this point in the story! Since that conclusion has been made, we can assume that would mean that in addition to Eren, Grisha was also unable to use the Founding Titan ability to change the anatomy of the Subjects of Ymir to cure the disease.
P.S. When it zoomed in on Magath saying "the Founding Titan" and Ange yelled, "no- it's THE SHREDDED", shit had me cackling LMAO

wonder how many spoilers its gonna take for them to just ban him from their patreon lol. dude constantly points them in directions for what to expect and deflects people saying he should stop by jumping through hoops to justify how its not a spoiler like it's not obvious he's talking about upcoming parts with stuff like "can't wait for connie in part 2". what YOU say is inconsistent because you have the foresight to know that connie specifically is going to have a larger role in the next part when he didn't before, unlike eren. so no people wouldn't have been upset if you said eren. but you didn't.

I love Connie, I named “Connie” my ficus benjamina because of him 😂😂😂
Even if he’s not “developed” like the other characters, Isayama has the ability to make you understand a character with little things.
The friendship between Connie, Sasha and Jean was even purer than Mikasa-Armin-Eren.
I think there’s always an imbalance between M-A-E…
The other trio was perfect together instead.
You have to understand Connie’s feelings.

The blame for Sasha's death can be partly on Eren while also being partly Sasha's own choice to join the military, right? These two things are not mutually exclusive.
Eren to some extent IS at fault, because as someone stated above, he took advantage of the Scouts by pushing them into a war that they had no say in. However, Sasha knew what she was getting herself into by joining the Survey Corps. She was told that most of them would die extremely early in joining, but she decided to join despite that fact. There were plenty of opportunities for her story to come to an end before her death in S4 Ep 8.
Sasha's father in S4 Ep 13 said it best: "She went into the world, became a soldier, shot people far yonder, and got herself shot. In the end, though she left our forest, the world is a great, big forest where everyone's fightin' for their life."
At the end of the day, all characters have to take responsibility for their decisions, whether it's Eren's decision to push the Survey Corps into a war, or Sasha's decision to join the military.

The Scouts were dragged into this conflict because Eren was too valuable to let him lone wolf and potentially get killed, he KNEW this and took advantage of that fact. They absolutely died because of his decision. You can absolutely blame Erwin for arguably unnecessary slaughter, but you can weigh his decisions against their benefits - to the Scouts, all Eren's decisions have led to so far is uniting the world's armies, who were fighting each other, against Paradis; him manipulating the military, plotting to assassinate the premier, taking over, and feeding Titan juice to a huge amount of military command. Totally reasonable to feel betrayed and to blame Eren at this point.

Grisha was a doctor, before he became a revolutionary patriot. That's why he managed to cure the plague on Paradis Island. He had much more knowledge of medicine than the rest at Paradis, because Marley was so much more advanced.

I think Grisha's treatments were so impressive to people in the walls simply because the medicine in Marley is more advanced, so he has a more advanced knowledge of medicine in general than other doctors on Paradis.

Ange, what you said at the beginning of the discussion is 100% on point imo. Isayama is clearly trying to make you love, or at least understand/empathize with individual characters, not with factions or choosing sides. And just because we love or empathize with characters doesn't mean we agree with all their actions. Very well said!

Just in case you didn’t know, magath is now in charge of the entire marleyan army after eren killed all the main leaders at the festival. And as we know of magath he definitely has more of a caring side towards the eldian soldiers and kids so what you said at the end of the video Ange is slightly wrong, while marley as a country hate the eldians, magath is definitely a caring leader of all his eldian soldiers

You can spin it all you want about Connie/Jean's opinion on Eren... but the fact is Eren got Sasha, who was essentially Connie's twin, killed. There is 0 debate in that whether it was about the "big picture" or not, you can completely understand Connie's current emotions and reactions.

Grisha was able to get rid of the disease because the rest of the world is more advanced in technology and medicine compared to the Island. Zeke's proposal to Paradis was to have historia inherit his beast titan so that way she can pass it on to her children and eren can do the same that way they will have a titan with royal blood and the founding titan and they can use the rumbling as a weapon, but Eren didn't approve of this. If Zeke dies without passing on his titan, then it will be inherited by a random child that is born at the same time as zeke dies. Eren krueger said that to grisha in season 3. Hopefully that helps.

Its crazy how we (who have watched the series already) had to wait a year for Part 2 lol
- timestamp 24:54) Also that isn't the first Armin has played dirty, he's very good at it
- when you think about the plague that was going on in Paradis probably wasnt that hard for grisha to cure. him being from Marley and Paradis being years behind when it came to diagnosing illnesses

I honestly think its just that Dr Yeager was from the outside world where there was more advanced medical knowledge (think like 85 years going on in the walls with limited innovation vs whole world) and he probably lied when he said he had no memories (cause who would even believe him in the walls and also he was trying to blend in)
