I don't know how DUB got it more accurate? The translation in sub is the closest to the one in manga. And Yuki Kaji is something you just can't change. There are many shows good in DUB but Attack on titan is not even remotely close to it. I mean seriously, do we need to address the issue where Titans sounds like broken Hyenas in dub?

i disagree with this lmfao the dub takes the emotion away from rather lousy voice acting. Also AOT dub is infamous in anime for mistranslating and entirely changing sequences of words. Here's what I found knowing a little bit of Japanese myself, and doing some digging online. I do not think Pieck's named is pronounced as "pick", I think it's "peek" or "peak". The katakana (Japanese lettering used for words/names that are foreign) reads as Piiku in the English alphabet. In the Japanese language, the "i" sound more closely resembles "ee", so the name would sound closer to "peek". Additionally, Pieck's name is actually of German origins, where they also pronounce it as "peek". Just thought i'd add this if anyone is curious!

And that Hobo guy and the end spitting facts about how gruesome war is and how most people are force into that hell. "But people who push their own backs see a different kind of hell" That really hit hard, especially with Erens conviction.

reiner's back story is so sad, my boy just wanted to be heroic and give his mother a better life all while being brainwashed to commit such heinous acts of violence, to the point where once he's mature to realize the gravity of his actions, it mentally breaks him. also idk if you caught the reiner eren parallel of both of them being weak in combat, both of their strengths being their drive and passion to a cause. also a subtle detail is falco also being the weak one like them wanting to fight to save gabi, eren notices this and asks if the person he's trying to save is a girl, bc eren also wanted to get stronger to protect mikasa who's a naturally strong gifted soldier just like gabi. it's the little details that i love, but yes im glad you guys are becoming a lot more empathetic towards the warriors

Actually Pieck as cart was meant to be revealed in episode 2 already. When they first introduced her, she had the red armband on which indicate she is a warrior, and she said she barely remember how to walk bipolar anymore, indicating she’s used to crawling. You were unspoiled earlier than you thought :).

So some little info( no spoilers) If you remember back in season 1 ep 3 I think when Reiner and Bert were sitting on the bed with Eren and Armin, Bert told them the exact same story that the old man told them in this episode, that he opened a window and boom a titan was there so Bert stole this guys story to have an excuse to say to Eren and Armin. There is a 4 year time jump so most of our characters in the Survey Corps are 19 not 20. Marcel and Porco=first names, Galliard=last name. Piecks name is pronounced as "pick". Grice was Falcos uncle. Thats it for now hope you enjoyed!!!
