We along with many other content creators take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we will have the start of our reaction with the media on screen for around 7-8 seconds to help you get in sync with our reaction.
Any other time you see another 7-8 second clip of the media on screen, means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped an intro to the show. (We sometimes have to do this to avoid spoilers). So You will then have to sync up to us again. This should not occur more than once or twice in the video.
Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. We try not to pause most of the time anyway, so this will be a rare occurrence in these reactions.
These reactions DO NOT include our intros and discussions. You will have to refer to the original edited version of the video.

2022-05-06 03:18:50 +0000 UTCWe can only manage to just have the subtitles for now, our editing doesn't quite allow for transparent watermarked footage. We can work on that maybe for future episodes! Thanks for the suggestion Charles :)

2022-05-06 03:17:05 +0000 UTCYeah. Carlie and Ange so to solve this problem, you can keep the subtitles rectangle at the bottom ALWAYS visible right? And for the top part of the box, make it transparent enough to pass the checker during most of the scenes, and if something crucial happened in the show, you can just click a button in editing and make that block temporarily visible fully for 3-5s to show the critical moment and then go back to transparent mode. That way most viewers can keep track of the show (ESPECIALLY if it's in a foreign language with subtitles) with the cropped fixed subtitles, and they can baaaaaarely see the transparent watermarked footage making it impossible to not have seen the original content :p, and then they can see your reaction during the hype moments on the same title card because the clip would be shown uncensored for a few seconds then censored again. It should all be under a certain number of minutes, i think? Was it 10 mins? Hope you figure it out!

2022-05-03 16:35:20 +0000 UTCWhat many reactors do is they only crop the subtitles and leave them on for the entire video. That way it's easy for the viewer to synchronize at any time. As far as I know, there are no copyright issues with that.

2022-05-03 15:11:27 +0000 UTCHumm. That's true. I'm also a Patron of another couple of reactors and for their full length reactions they put just the bottom of the screen that contains the subtitles playing. But they post their full lengths on Vimeo dunno if that makes a difference. 🤔

2022-05-03 14:52:09 +0000 UTCHmm that does seem to be an issue doesnt it. The only issue with a timer is that it’s impossible for everyone to sync up because they watch it on different websites. Hmm. We’ll have to try and work on a solution to some future full lengths. Maybe it’ll help if we do more than just one clip of the show at the very start? Maybe we can add a few more in.
