2022-04-25 02:12:11 +0000 UTCThis OVA was Expedition #23. Season one they go on Expedition #57 and encounter the female titan. So, lots of expeditions. I don't know that they officially give a time difference, but Levi is 30ish in Season 1. I do agree with Ange on the similarities between Eren and Isabella. Longing for freedom and all the bird symbolism. I think Levi can feel that same energy, and that's why he's so stern with Eren. He doesn't want him to end up the same way.

I hope (and think) that it will not be 4 years for Arcane , but then the cliffhanger was much harder. So all of us have/had our burden to bear.. πππ

2022-04-24 19:03:14 +0000 UTCAccording to the manga this takes place in 844, which is 1 year before the main story starts - the same year Mikasa loses her parents. Levi's age isn't specified, we only know he's older than 30 in S1, so he is at least 16 years older than Mikasa :)

I believe this takes place at least 5 years before season 1 starts, so in the current timeline itβs been 10 years since Levi met Erwin. But Iβm not entirely sure, Levi is about 30 years old in season 1. See you guys for season 2 in 2026

That conversation with Eren hits a bit harder when you know it comes from Leviβs own personal experience with loss and the choice he made here. Those parallels and the outcomes, So heartbreaking. On a lighter note, Hange always brings that energy and itβs impossible not to smile seeing her get way too excited about stuff. Sheβs a loon and I absolutely love her! Levi-tating was too good. These puns are getting out of hand in the best way π€£

Before they leave for the 23th expedition, Levi says his gut tells him, that they should stay behind. In the forest, Levi tells Eren to trust his gut, and pick the decision that he would regret the least. Love this OVA
