One thing i didnt c anyone mention is when Mike puts Levi in the mud ull see the other bloke saying how Erwin will never understand bcz he basks in the sun...Erwin then stoops down onto the same pool of mud to show respect to Levi. Lot of ppl missed that.

The "bro" translation is correct but not so much in the modern sense. It's more to show that Furlan calls him by his name as they are equals but Isabel looks up to him

2022-04-24 13:21:25 +0000 UTCI think the Isabel & Eren comparison is an interesting spot. I feel like Levi must be reminded of them whenever he sees our main trio. I don't think the criminals are necessarily protected, just the rich people (ofc sometimes they're one and the same). The underground lies beneath Mitras which is the most protected City in the walls..they gave up on the idea of living there because of how sick it makes you so the poor are forced to live there instead. Looking forward to Pt 2 and all the AOT content to come!

Ending it on that chord as you said was a very interesting choice. A bit unsettling. The way the music accents the story is so great. Also any time we get Levi in ODM gear is just too good. The animators go all out on his scenes!

Remember Erwin in season 1 only told a select few his plan, he only told those who had been in the scouts since before the colossal titan attacked in episode 1. Levi’s squad weren’t told because they weren’t in the scouts in episode 1. They joined somewhere along the time eren began training
