The second reveal also flows well into episode 2 when the reveal is fresh in the reactors minds. If you watched episode 1, ilses notebook and episode 2 in your spare time it would make sense what I’m saying

This guy shows tonnes of foreshadows and parallelism that most AoT fans overlooked. However, I would not recommend you to watch any of his videos atm to avoid spoilers. When I have the time, I'll compile which of his videos are safe to watch based on the current season you guys are on. You'll be amazed at how insane Isayama's writing is. Also, I bet Ange would love this. A SPOON?! -- STEAAAAAM - What is happening? What's in the basement! Where is the key -- STEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM (in abridged krillin voice) - Skeletial Titan? 2022-04-18 18:15:30 +0000 UTCHere is my OVA order list. Feel free to comment: 1) No Regrets Part 1 & 2 (it's pretty important.) 2) Ilse's Notebook (Also quite important). For a better experience, watch it after Episode 1 of Season 2. 3) A Sudden Visitor. 4) Distress That's all for Season 2. You guys should watch Lost Girl: Wall Sina, Goodbye Part 1 & 2 after Season 2. Lastly, watch Lost Girl: In The Cruel World after Season 3, Part 1. To avoid confusion about the timeline of each OVA, take note of the episode number in the beginning. Something like 3.25, 3.5 and 3.75, meaning the event of those episodes took place before episode 4. Moving forward, the formatting and number of episodes per season can be a bit confusing. It'll be like Season 1, Season 2, Season 3 Part 1, Season 3 Part 2 etc. Enjoy!

I haven't actually seen the OVAs, so i'm excited to check them out. Are there any spoilers in the OVAs that are not shown yet as of end of S1 E25 for the reactors? (i'm caught up with the s4 anime, i'm mostly checking for ange/carlie)

2022-04-18 17:33:11 +0000 UTCOkay guys please chill. 😉 As a newbie to AoT (I'm actually from the LoL part of this community) I don't want get into a brawl of obvious AoT-Pros here.😂 I'm far away from telling anyone how to watch this show. For me this worked quite well. Still, I can see Roys argument regarding that the makers of the show made the order for a reason. If so, maybe I just did not get "their plan".🤷♂️ In the end I'm currently at ep 2. Maybe I see it differently as the show goes on.. Sometimes things can just be seen from a different point of view. ☮️

2022-04-18 16:06:04 +0000 UTCWell given that I’ve seen many reactions where people literally state that they wish the watched it after episode 1 that is my proof that the best viewing pleasure is what I have stated. Actually in the order you state ilses notebook has two shocking factors. One which is immediately shocking and one which is shocking once you reach episode 2. That’s why I say the ova should be watched after episode 1. You are totally wrong in saying “you lose the effect of it when watching in the order I request” and the comment above once again gives credence to my perspective. Listen they can watch it any way they decide but my perspective is how I believe it would benefit them the most

It would not have "damaged" my experience to watch it in the chronical order either. The impact just wouldn't have been that big for me I suppose. 🤔 Of course everyone is free to have another opinion.

Either way, you thinking Ilse's notebook will take away from season 2 episode 1 is ridiculous. There's plenty to unpack in that episode but in Ilse's notebook there's just ONE shocking factor and you loose it completely when watching the show In the order you request. It's best to watch the show as it was released throughout the years.

I have seen many different reactions to this series and can totally attest to the order I have stated above as the reactors I have seen enjoy it more in the order I have stated. You can even literally see master of puppets here agree with my statement which is really all the proof you need. The release order does not matter in this scenario
