You see Levi taking the patch from the Body with the bite mark on the hand(Petra) early in the episode, there's no way he had Ivan's badge because they never picked up Ivan's body untill those guys went back for the body. Levi gave away his only memory of Petra for the sake of his soldier having closure with his friends death.

I think u guys were 100% right to disagree and even though what happened after I think u guys still shudnt feel guilty about it bcz yes the show explained y they were right but it was still the right thing to do if u think about it that way

It’s so tragic. When I first watched this I fully expected Levi to be upset with him but instead he shows how big his heart is by giving up his only physical thing to remember Petra by. Love Levi so much.

I really like this ep even though its a very sad one it shows the audience how much loss the scout regimen endures and the heavy burdens they carry with them as they continue to journey beyond the walls.
