I kinda get the feeling that the people who killed his family weren't actually people of his country, maybe they worked for Kaido, or if they were then maybe they were manipulated into doing it. I wouldn't be surprised if that old lady with the clone fruit and the finger-crossing shield old guy were targeting their own family members just so they could create easy to use pawns like Kanjuro and the bucktoothed dumbass shogun that I forgot the name of.

Kiku hardened their resolve after literally watching Ashura get killed by the first one, hesitating against someone using the exact same trick that killed your friend extremely recently and that you know is trying to kill Momonosuke makes you look like a complete shit retainer. Fucking hate it.

2025-09-07 17:06:23 +0000 UTCi disagree with Kanjuro.... i think the fact he died doing what he loved is a good ending for him, and he did deserve it. the people of his own country killed his family in front of him, his whole existence after that was just completely void and hollow.... he only followed Orochi's instruction because he hoped that revenge against the Kozuki Clan and the whole Wano Country would give him some kind of satisfaction or closure.... but behind all the laughing and the mocking... he was still just that hollow man, hoping to find the perfect moment to cease to exist. The real Kanjuro died the moment his parents died, so the fact he was able to find that perfect moment to finally fall and rest... putting an end to his miserable and emotionless existence....... was a beautiful thing (in my opinion).
