Well ant there is actually a link between your digestion and brain, its called the gut-brain axis. its kind of like a weird brain extension in your gut and is where the whole "gut feeling" comes from, sometimes the gut brain processes information your head brain missed and you get a gut feeling or a sinking feeling in your gut. intestinal issues could also cause hormone imbalances in your actual brain because of that link so your IBS may cause some depressive episodes.

They may have been running to hide somewhere or to rally their fellow innies for a hostile takeover of the severed floor.

The Crazy Stupid Podcast did some great commentary on Severance’s themes and world building. They’re definitely worth a listen!

when they talk about "The Equator" being a building or a continent, Or perhaps a building so big it became a continent, I think that is an intentional allusion to the Lumon building. They don't know how big it is and since it's their entire world, it might as well be a continent. And I think the Goat sacrifice was just weird cult religion stuff while the cold harbor version of Gemma was an attempt to create an "empty vessel" of sorts to have it's soul guided to Kier's for something somehow related to reincarnation. I think season 3 will start with Mark and Helly hiding out in Lumon but evolve into a conversation around innie politics WHILE mark has re-integrated and becoming one with himself again... and there could be talks between outside people and innies to get to the bottom of what Lumon was doing before it was officially revealed to the public and maybe stories around the Senator pushing for it and potentially it could even end up being a law that Outie's who got severed are not allowed to re-integrate and legally required to give their Innie custody of the body for a set amount of time every week/month, Like parental rights in the raising of children. There are so many societal and philosophical and frankly dark implications of Severance that could be discussed and explored beyond working at Lumon.

"I wish you'd take them raw" From the first season his favorite breakfast was 3 raw eggs in milk. To me this echoes his disappointment in his daughter. Which is showed a lot more later. I do like how Mr Milchick stood up against his boss, but I don't see this as any kind of turning point for him. So a lot more seems to be explained, but I can't help but feel they aren't real answers. Two things still vex me. First of all the goats. I refuse to believe it was just some symbolic sacrifice since everything else in other departments had a point. I wonder if a goats death somehow affected something in Gemma? Also here is something I realized that wasn't answered. What is severance anyway? Unless I missed something then I see two possibilities. Either it is two different consciousnesses with no memory of each other or a single consciousness booting from two different memory hard drives each time there is a swap. Still so many darn questions.
