I was really blown away in theaters with how blatent I felt it was, only for none of my friends to pick up on it until I pointed it out. I also loved your comentary as someone with Indian heritage commenting on all the fun culteral annoyances being talked about in the early part of the movie. But overall I love how much you love Spiderman. It's so clear through out all of these reacons so far how much love you have for Spiderman as a franchise and for Miles in particular. Can't wait for Spiderverse 3.

2025-08-03 22:21:41 +0000 UTCI love this movie SO much. Gwen's monologue at the beginning... makes a whole new kind of sense after you see the ending of the movie. It reads so much more like a recruitment pitch. Hobie is the OG in this movie, just full-stop. Yeah, he comes across as chaotic and self-contradictory out of the gate, but from the moment you meet him, he's simultaneously telling the truth and bullshitting... not only the other spiders, but the audience as well. He dropped all of the hints needed to help Miles and Gwen. Even all of those "random" bits and pieces that he was stealing from Spider Society HQ... weren't so random. They're the pieces he used to make his own wristband, free of Miguel's control. Also, I love that the actor who played Wakabi (the border tribe leader who sided with Killmonger in Black Panther) got to play him. I'm also so happy that the actor who played Dopinder in Deadpool got to have a legit hero role with Pavitr! I personally believe that this world's Miles isn't a villain, though. When Spot is telling him about stealing the spider, you see it on its way to that world's Miles (though you don't realize it until the end). The Sinister Six (which you overhear J. Jonah Jameson talking about on the TV) are a group of major Spider-Man villains, and they have Earth 42's New York by the throat. I believe that he's acting against them. And now... welcome to the agony of waiting for the next one. Still two years to go... at least... I'm ready for it... and not ready for it at all. I'm 99% certain that it is going to emotionally destroy ALL of us.

2025-07-01 03:42:37 +0000 UTC"Spiderman: Beyond the Spiderverse" is set to come out June 4th 2027. It was supposed to come out in 2026 but it kept getting pushed back for various reasons. I really wish it would come out sooner but I also know that if it did, it wouldn't be as great a movie, it deserves as much polish as they can afford to give it. Also, if you look close enough in Gwen's room she straight up has a Trans Flag. While its not confirmed whether or not the character is trans, it is 100% supposed to be her Journey. Im 99% sure that the only reason its not explicitly said is because it would make a bunch of shitheads pissed and possibly ruin the overall view of the movie. All things considered it works just fine with it being what it is, them outright saying it wouldn't change anything about the story. They made her color scheme the Trans Flag colors, gave her a flag in her room, and gave her fairly androgynous features, and made her story similar to what Trans people might go through with their family. They pretty much did everything except say it in words.
