Yeah, tho I will say, my big gripe was that it was VERY difficult to tell what Kargalgan was saying in the Dub. That, and there were few cases where I feel like a voice actor may have been miscast. Like SungWon Cho (ProZD) being cast as JinChul Woo felt very miscast. His voice acting is often solid, but his voice didn't fit him. Other than that, it was pretty good. Especially Aleks Le as JinWoo. He did SO WELL, I genuinely can't tell which one I prefer, his or the Japanese one. (maybe his, ngl, it's that good)

The only reason Jinwoo didn't get Karlagan's all 4 elite guards as shadows was because he forgot about the first one that he put through the ceiling. 3 out of 4 isn't bad anyway.

Pretty sure it's because of screen framing or whatever it's called, that or the creator of the manwha could have come up with the change (but most likely it's because they needed to change it for animation sake)

Like the adaptation is good why is so many people complaining lmao (also a still image vs an animated sequence, most of the time the image is gonna look better and have more detail)

So Jinwoo's entrance was actually even harder in the Manhwa. Originally karlaghan only raised the leader in the air (didn't hit the ceiling) and slammed him down a couple times before Jinwoo jumped in. Then Jinwoo proceeded to slam the orc up and down into the ceiling AND floor a bunch of times before asking him if he wants his help

From what I gather from what risk said, I think the monsters are generated as the gates are created, meaning they just pop into existence with he "hunt the humans" command. I think jinwoo interferes with their program alot

as a manwha reader, I honestly was a little disappointed in this episode. Not with Drip Woo... he's forever peak. What bummed me out was his shadows... Iron's much more expressive when the high orcs break his taunt, and there's a combo attack he does with Igris and Tank that is chef's kiss (imo). That and I wish they had put a few more frames of animation into the re-summoning of the shadows, instead of them almost 'popping' into existence.

I haven't read the manwha or novel. But if I could guess what's happening... The greater "system" that is causing gates to appear is something that swallows worlds/realities and then uses its inhabitants as pawns to invade other worlds. The MC's system is either part of that invasion (like an sleeper agent of sorts). Or there is another entity with access to the greater Gate System who co-opted some of its power/mechanics to create a human weapon against that very System. This would explain the monster's confusion, because why would the system fight against its own agents? With that in mind, I think Dad Wu's comments about "devouring our strength and using it against us" is a misdirection to make people wonder if the MC is the big threat. Regardless of whether the MC is another unknowing pawn against Earth or a secret agent against the System, it could still lead to a fight between father and son, as the dad wouldn't know the difference and only see another tool of the "system".

Maybe they were trying to lean into his position as a spellcaster. He wasn't in charge because he was the biggest and most muscular, but because his spells make him untouchable. He didn't need to be big and strong because he had minions for that.

You are absolutely correct. I just rechecked and didn't even realise they skipped over this detail. Was so vivid in my mind that I could've sworn I had seen it in the anime aswell. Deleted my original comment. Sorry about that. For reference, it canonically occured during Jinwoo's time clearing the first 75 levels of the Demon Castle, back in episode 3 of this second season. In the end it's most certainly not a spoiler, but it does mean skipped content, so I once again apologize for including it in a comment.

So now our boy has 200+ high orcs around A rank, maybe 50-80 soldiers and bears around B rank plus the mages, tank - top tier A rank bulldozer, Iron - likely top tier A rank/low tier S rank tank, Igris - low/mid tier S rank knight and now Tusk - likely a High tier A rank/low tier S rank spell caster (probably way stronger if he has orb of avarice). Our boy is a one man guild with around 300 "members" and since we know he can expand how many summons he can have (previously could only have like 30) one day will have 1000's.

I started reading this story before the lightnovel was even done. So watching it go from that to a manhwa and now to an anime has been a treat. I still like the lightnovel the most. But the art as made this and the manhwa something to love!
