Jim Carrey's version of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" is my only real problem with this movie, because it's like he's singing it directly into his sinuses. Then again, it's hard to top Thurl Ravenscroft's velvety-thicc baritone.

Best part of this fact: This was the first take of that scene

"Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more..." Always has me tearing up... and then they had to ruin it with the over the top screaming and gaffing to the camera and destroying a legitimately beautiful scene.

Usually when a change of heart (literally in this case) happens, they make the character throw away almost everything of their old personality as a kind of "growth". But in this he's still a sassy jerk, but now he has it in him to care and see the good around him. It was a small thing but I really appreciate it.

That they had to bring in a guy that trains CIA ops to endure torture. He said that the Bee Gees was the only thing that help get him through it.

I will say I’m glad they decided not to drink every time someone said “The Grinch”, because they’d have no Livers afterwards. Also, fun fact: the guy who originally sang the “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch” song was Thurl Ravencroft who among other things voiced Tony the Tiger and did the singing voice for the Goblins/Orcs in the Rankin and Bass Hobbit and Return of the King cartoons.
