Even for all the 'spoilers' people complain about, most are only obvious on re-watch or if your specifically stopping to pic through them... plus you already watched most of them. I just love the openings so much and wish the were appreciated more! The last opening for pre-timeskip is just 👌👌👌 And they only get more fun now that you know the characters! Have a lovely time!

2024-07-30 14:34:22 +0000 UTCThe recaps and the reaction shots slow down new content per-episode drastically, to the point Alicia would have to watch 3 episodes in one upload to keep up with the current runtime we have on uploads. The flashbacks are insanely varrying in quality and necessity, and their spread is not well executed. There is a bunch of absolutely useless characters who could've been completely cut and nothing of real substence would've been lost (pink hair and baby clothes being the worst offenders), thereby shortening the overlong arc. One can sit through Skypiea and while it can be a bit bothersome its over pretty quickly, Dressrosa drags on and on and on, if it wasn't for the insanely hype finale of the arc it'd be equal to Skypiea in terms of quality imho

Just because someone doesn’t have the black coating doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t any haki being used nor is haki “invisible” to those who don’t have it.

The flashbacks in that arc are some of the best flash backs in the entire series, and no matter how many times we see "Redacted"'s flash back, it's new information every time. The arc also features one of the best written villains in the story and "spoiler surprise surprise reveal". It's also a more powerful setup for future arcs vs skypiea which only gives minor hints, (and possibly has something later, but that's just speculation). It's almost 3 times as long as skypiea but has 10 times more content. You cannot say it's paced worse than skypiea. I dropped one piece for months because of skypiea 3 separate times while I sat waiting for weekly releases for dressrosa. There's 3 or 4 memorable parts in skypiea while there's so many iconic moments in dressrosa and some could be called legendary. I can go on, but if I go into any further detail, we're hitting spoilers, I already had to censor some parts

That's averaging 100 episodes per arc. Pacing may not be the best, but none of these arcs pace worse than skypiea, so we're good.

Hello I'm back again, the reason Rayleigh is attached to Luffy so much is because he spent a year and a half with him. Remember his crew only spent what 4 or 5 months with him. Imagine how much of an effect he would have on somebody who spent a year and a half with him.

Definitely an iconic moment. So glad you got here! - Yeah Oda did a FANTASTIC job on Perona's redesign. Super appreciated after we got to know her better, and care about her character. - Boa using her power and status to *physically* block the Navy, is one of my favourite scenes. All while being 'in character', as an abrasive spoiled brat. - In fact, seeing the friends we made along the way step up and fight the Navy, is one of my favourite things from this arc. - Alicia, you getting excited when you realized you can see Jimbei again just made my day xD
