As in their main demographic was children, but it had little jokes for any parents who where watching with their children. I had completely forgotten they had John Oliver playing Holmes this episode. And Larry King and Coolio playing themselves.

Denying certain jokes and references from the show, as well as censoring any satanic references. Once you are done with the show you can find some of the notes, he's read them out before. If I remember correctly it got to around 40-100 changes to scripts or background images every episode.

There's a whole Youtube video where he shares the kinda BS he had to deal with just to get some jokes into the show.
