Marineford has been obliterated, they didn't prevent the world from finding out the worst of what happened, Ace's death ended up being a sacrifice for his brother instead of an execution... and now they get to find out what it's like to have a pirate like Blackbeard roaming the seas unchecked. This victory was so costly for them it might as well be counted as a loss (and up until Whitebeard's death I did count it as a loss for them).
